This is my Tempo Mage!
This is an incredible fast deck. Yes , i know. It's the first day of TGT and I'm wrecking everyone!
If i get 12 likes, I'll post a guide! - Actually , after some days. We are only in the second day of TGT! I'll post the guide soon.
If you wanna add me: Occidere#1635.
I'll probably do some changes in the future.

Hello guys , here I am. Sorry for not posting a guide but who doesn't know how to play tempo correctly.
Well , this is the updated version.
+ 2 water elementals = counter to warriors , palas , hunter , rogue. Just too good to not be played.
+ 2 mirror image and 2 arcane missiles = more early flamewaker enablers , using two of each one you don't need to use mech yeti.
+ Loatheb = Solid 5 drop that can save you against hunters , for example or save your board against a consec.

Tempo mage is an aggro deck that tries to get ahead in tempo with apprentices/flamewakers combos and then tries to finish off the opponent with spells/archmage.

Arcane Blasts - That card really surprised me. It gives you so much tempo. So much better than 2 mirror images. If you're seeing loads of shamans , i would add 1 mirror image , tho.
Shreeders - They're just too good. If you're seeing loads of weapon classes i would add 1/2 water elementals.
Counterspell - Good against the most classes in this meta. If you don't like the card i would put in a duplicate.

how do you play this? do you go for face?
You trade when you know you have to, apart from that go face. Spells makes good finishers, so try and save them for the "late" game, to kill your enemy. But ofc you will sometimes have to Fireball a Twilight Guardian or something, don't be scared to do so. I personally run Ragnaros the Firelord and Pyroblast over Archmage Antonidas, as finishers, and it work perfectly fine. The win rate is f'ckin' real! At least 80%! :D
i took out the 2 spellslingers to add pyroblast and and 2 azure drakes rather than just 1. replaced a summon portal for bloodmage thalnos cauz is a cheap spell +1 so i can really ramp up spell damage cheaply when the situation allows.
Will placing Emperor Thaurrisan be better if u dont have antonitas ? Is Emperor Generally good in this deck ?
no its bad
If you're facing lots of control you can use a sylvanas or emperor instead of loatheb , because sylvanas is just too good of a card and emperor makes Antonidas combo easier , so you can rush , for example , a warrior down.
Climbing from 19 to 13 with 78% for now. At least at this levels deck can win.
The whole point of tempo Mage is to get ahead on the board and keep the "tempo" then finish off the game with a fireball or frostbolt. Spellslinger makes no sense. Why would you give your opponent a spell to potentially gain back the tempo? And the fact that Nexus-Champion Saraad is nowhere to be found makes even less sense.
I think the idea is that Spellslinger is usually going to have better synergy with this deck with more of the spells than a random opponent. Of course it will backfire sometimes, but a majority of the time (a small majority), it will probably favor you. Also, it's possible he just doesn't have Nexus-Champion Saraad. It does seem like it would fit well in this deck though!
I mean, I can see where the thinking with synergy is going with Spellslinger. But in my experience with tempo mage, you're either ahead on tempo or behind. Neither position is helped by playing a Spellslinger. There are much better options in the form of Tinkertown Technician, a second Clockwork Gnome or even Toshley. In other words, a spare part spell synergy mech deck simply outclasses this one. I'm sure it's fun to play and all but why not just play higher win rate versions of the same themed deck? If you want fun, play Murloc Priest or something.
Nice deck!! Although I don't trust in the Spellslinger, so I removed both to make room for some tech cards and added The Black Knight and Flamestrike (I know, traded 6 mana cost for 13...) and works great!!
I'll se how far do I get with this and let you know!
This deck is fun and fine how it is, the people who are complaining need to get good. I even forgot to put fireballs in this deck and still won 3 games. Sure lucky card draw helps but if you know what your doing with mage you can make anything work.
Hey guys , for the new TGT style , you guys should try the echo molten giant mage deck, it works really well with the current meta
this deck cant win, im not a new or a newbie player and i rly stay at 17-18 rang above an 2 hours with this deck, people, dont spend ur time on play with this deck
Rank 17-18? You are definately doing something wrong..
No skill involved 99% rng 1% jacking off
Spellslinger is the perfect example why one man's success does not make a deck good.
I have said that HS has way too much rng built into it's design so many times but for some reason people refuse to believe it.
Another perfect example,i was running a version with 2x Polymorph and 2x Flamestrike 3 games in a row all 4 cards were in the bottom 7 cards and two of the games the bottom 5.
When you are playing flood hungry decks like paladin for example, you need that card turn 7-9 after they play that 6/6,not turn 20.
Even Yheti has proven in the past to be a pain,he can give your opponent perhaps a cloak on a very powerful minion meaning you can't touch it or even a rebound on a battlecry they might want.It is always just a 50/50 rng value on part you might want/need versus what you don't want your opponent to have.
The problem with Counterspell of course is the Yheti ,i found Counterspell to be amazing especially when turn 4/5/6 comes up versus Implosion or Lightning Storm and again Warlock trying to buff an Egg with the +4/4.I guess my point is that as enticing as Yheti seems it will put too much RNG into your games and not allow Counterspell.
I don't think it is fair to complain about unlucky deck order and blame that on HS's RNG design. That is not unique to Hearthstone. It happens in ANY card game. Also, you have to remember, those RNG cards like spellslinger and mechanical yeti balance out overall. In the long run, your opponent is going to draw the short straw just as many times as you do. You just tend to remember it more when you get the bad RNG, which makes it seem like you are always unlucky.
I have given up on TGT tempo mage. The typical spell I would get from Spellslinger is something like Sacrificial Pact (never against warlock, btw) , while my opponent would typically get something like Hex or Polymorph.
