Welcome to my Fizzlelock Guide.
Watch out: 0 Mana Lord Jaraxxus incoming!
Basically the idea of the deck is to be played like a usual Handlock, but with some adjustments that support our hero: [card]Wilfred Fizzlebang[/card].
Update: I created this FAQ here and will try to answer as many questions as possible in the comments, also I started a youtube series, where i will upload matches vs. the common ladder decks you will face at the moment:
FAQ:
#1 Why Fencing Coach?
Fencing Coach is a very good card for this deck, if you draw it and Fizzle till turn 5 you can set up a very strong combo that gives you an insane tempo play.
Turn 5: Fencing Coach + maybe something else like Darkbomb or Ancient Watcher
Turn 6: [card]Wilfred Fizzlebang[/card] + free Tab + free Card
#2 Why no Frost Giant?
You would have to cut Mountain Giant for Frost Giant, but then you would miss the standard Handlock mechanic of dropping a Mountain Giant on turn 4 which is just too good to miss. Cutting out Molten Giant is not an option cause they secure wins against rush/aggro decks.
#3 Why Emperor Thaurissan in this deck?
The reason you can't exclude Emperor Thaurissan from this deck is simple. The card is just too good! Usually Fizzlelock has a lot of cards in hand, so an Emperor Thaurissan creates insane value when being ignored by your opponent. That results in Emperor Thaurissan acting like a super taunt card, your opponent has to clear it in his turn and that often results in an expensive or unfortunate clear for your opponent. That is why Emperor Thaurissan shouldn't be taken out.

Is cutting a darkbomb for Dr.Boom viable or even BGH?
No Fencing Coach? It works really well with Wilfred Fizzlebang, making him more viable. I think you should find room for this card.
I really don't think Fencing Coach is just a Fizzle Combo card. Often with Handlock decks, turn 3 with coin can turn into a no play scenario. Fencing coach let's us have a 2/2 body on the board while doing what we love to do, tapping. The pressure this adds to the board with so many aggressive decks out there is crazy valuable.
one combo that worked well for me in the past two days is on turn 5 play Fencing Coach, then the next turn play Wilfred Fizzlebang. Get to use his effect right away. Sometimes hero power, then fencing coach, so i can at least utilize all five mana.
What do you think about only 1 Argus?
Using Dr. boom or Another Minion instead of one argus
Have all the cards... interested in hearing your Mulligan thoughts.
I know this is Handlock with just the addition of Fizzle, but I'm always curious what others Mulligan for versus each class etc.
Versus possible...
Control? =
Zoo/Rush? =
Mid-range? =
Things to always keep? =
Any type of combos? =
Either way, I'm curious how it is performing for you and others in whatever ranks people are at.
As a long time handlock player, here are some mulligan tips:
Mulligan vs Aggro: Early game removal, AoE and Antique Healbot. Early watcher + taunt. Molten Giant are good too, depending on your opponents skill level. You are not going to get away with just turn 2 & 3 hero power in these kind of matchups. Unless your opponent has a terrible hand.
Mulligan vs Control: Depending what type of control deck. Usually going for turn 4 Mountain Giant/Big Twilight Drake is a good play. Do not overextend into things like Brawl or Equality + Consecration.
Just something little, hopefully it helps!
Any place maybe for cheaper taunts? Deathlords maybe? Made Wilfred my first legendary to be crafted from TGT :)
I mean, you basically just replaced Big Game Hunter with Wilfred Fizzlebang in Handlock.
Not hating on the idea, but to call it a "new" deck seems a bit much.
Well Fizzel my nizzle! Someone's a Debbie downer! I didn't notice anywhere that Mr. PhilChamp claimed this was a revolutionary new deck. Don't be a meanyhead and try to drizzle on the Fizzel!
I'm with Techno. It might not claim to be a revolutionary deck, but I think it's funny that he put the name on the deck when it's just a single substitute card. Makes me think of all the hunter decks that have been posted with 1 or 2 cards different saying how their version got to legend. Well, yeah, tweaking a card here and there doesn't change a whole of lot strategy from the deck.
Like this deck for instance. He says to play it more taunt heavy. That's no different than playing standard Handlock or trying to protect another good card with the same mana cost aka Emperor.
So this is Handlock that subs BGH for Siphon, subs Dr. Boom for Fizzle, and Fizzle gives Handlock just an extra boost with its tempo due to cheap heavy minions with great stats or a cheap Shadowflame/Siphon target. Other than that, you play this as you would a standard Handlock deck; it's just that HL is stronger now due to this card. Personally, I'd sub one Hellfire for Boom and see how that works.
I really like the look of this deck! I'm playing some Demon Handlock, and now I'll craft Wilfred Fizzlebang to give this deck a try!
Since it's a Handlock deck, that means tons of loses against face hunters and aggro Paladins haha but it's all good tho.
Hey PhilChamp, how do you feel about Saraad or Dr boom?
Hi Phil! What do you think about subbing 1 hellfire for fencing coach?
can i replace Lord Jaraxxus with other minions? like Mal Ganis or Alextraza, if there others just tell me and also what do think about adding more giants like forst.
Cool looking deck! I love handlock, control warrior, ramp druid, priest.. Patient slow moving decks that build up to a win. This deck looks really solid and I crafted a gold Fizzel to try it out! :D Ok enough yapping I'm going to go give it some play time! Thanks!
By the power of Fizzel! This deck is quite a lot of fun to play, just as I suspected! Awesome job PhilChamp!
Also, what do you think is better in this deck, Big Game Hunter or Siphon Soul?
can you replace jaraxxus with mel'ganis
0 mana jarax on turn 8, such a great deal
