This is my idea for a rogue archetype that Blizzard is trying to push a lot in this expansion. Of course have the best cards of a rogue deck, like Backstab, Eviscerate and SI:7 Agent but in this case our win condition is threatening a lethal with our big minions with the help of an assassine blade + Deadly Poison or Tinker's Sharpsword Oil + Blade Flurry.
There are of course a lot of efficient removal: Blade Flurry, Dark Iron Skulker and i put in a Sabotage insted of a sap because for a control deck you can't simply get a card back to your opponents hand.
For the card draw i was a little bit uncertain but in the end i choose Burgle, cause it's a lot more cost efficient than a Sprint and without preparations you can't use all your turn 7 to only use a card that does nothing for your board presence.
As a big threats i choose a pretty standard set with Sylvanas Windrunner, Ragnaros the Firelord, Ysera and Dr. Boom plus the two big rogue legendaries...i still think that also in this kind of deck Anub'arak is not a great card but if i will find it in a pack this is the kind of deck that can give some credit to it while Trade Prince Gallywix in my opinion is simply insane in this kind of deck: great stats distribution and really nice ability.
And last i want to talk a little bit about Beneath the Grounds, one of my favourite cards of the entire expansion; with that spell you essentialy gain a 12/12 stats value for only 3 mana!! Of course you need to let the game go for a lot of time to squeez in all the value...against another control deck potentially in mid/late game you gain a lot of board presence from nothing and of course you can easily play it on turn 3 for maximum efficiency.
What do you think? Do you like this possible new rogue deck? You think you will try it out?
Sorry honey, but this meta is too fast for anub arak
I have been using cutpurses and Shado-Pan riders, both of which feel very strong at securing the early game using combo effects. Might be worth a try
Tested it out, good deck! Burgle is pretty good for card draw but Beneath the Grounds hasn't worked out at all for me :/. Gonna try Argent Horserider instead, I feel the card is good for anti aggro and can work well with Oil!
