So there has been a lot of people unhappy about the power creep that happened to poor ole Magma Rager. In some ways they are right, because he's already OP. -kappa
However because he was unappreciated and never saw the light of day, except the little Moonfire shot, I decided to make his dreams come true. Here is the tribute to the Magma Rager as he approaches this retirement from Hearthstone.
You saw this legend deck here first folks.
fineprint: You need Emperor Thaurissan out there to have a massive mana reduction on the cards.
Too Easy.
Turn 1. Step 1. Play Magma Rager 5/1. (2 mana)
Step 2. Play Abusive Sergeant to buff Magma to 7/1. (0 mana)
Step 3. Play Sparring Partner to give Magma Taunt. (1 mana)
Step 4. Play Bolster on Magma, he's now 9/3. (1 mana)
Step 5/6. Play Inner Rage twice on Magma. He's now 15/1. (0 mana)
Step 7. Play Charge on Magma. He's now primed at 15/1 with Charge. (2 mana)
Step 8. Play Faceless Manipulator. TWO OP Magma Ragers. (4 mana)
Step 9. Go face. 30 Damage face is the place.
Like I said, OP.
Go Raging Worgen, Inner Rage, Inner Rage, Rampage, Rampage, Charge, (3+0+0+2+2+3 = 10), and you can do 30 damage without Emperor Thaurissan. Plus it's only 6 cards. Step 5/6 makes him only 13/1, and need another abusive or to replace Bolster and Sparring Partner with 2 Rampage.
I realize this is to make magma rager feel better but
THAURISSAN
Step 1: Play Ice Rager (2mana) 5/1
Step 2: Play 2 Abusive Sergeants 9/1
Step 3: Play 1 Inner Rage 11/1
Step 4: Play 1 Lance Bearer (1mana) 13/2
Step 5: Charge
Step 6: Faceless + smorc
7 Cards vs 8 cards!!!!! the power creep is too real
haha nice, way to make Magma Rager feel even more useless!
Deck sucks, loses to Wisp and Target Dummy
