Overview:

I have created this deck just to have some fun, still it has shown some nice performance in the current meta and in the Hearthstone Cafe event Moscow getting me to the finals undefeated.

The deck is very very slow and pretty much isn't normal control deck everybody using, cause if you lose the board to enemy's heavy minions - you pretty much lose the game. It does not have finisher like woods+roar, so you have to kill your opponent slowly, but steadily. The deck is rather complex and doesn't let you make any mistakes, but if you learn to play it properly your opponent will be smashed like by the tank.

I couldn't reach high ranks with this deck, but now I'm grinding for golden hero, so maybe until the next of the month I'll manage to show some better performance.

Pros:

- Very stable;

- Can show good tempo even from turn 1 until the end of the game;

- Good vs face and other aggro decks and vs heavy control decks;

- Isn't too expensive;

- Nice for tournaments;

- Not afraid of silence, as ramp druid decks.

Cons:

- No hard removals;

- Lack of taunts or defense from OTK decks;

- No finisher;

- Matches can be very long.

General strategy:

The sense of this deck is keeping enemy side of table clear and board control. It can be easily achieved by coin/inner + Blackwing Technician or by spells and your shooting minions. Don't be afraid to get some face damage, your main goal is to make your opponent believe that though you have board control, he can easily smash your face to death. And then you do some druid magic and use Tree of Life on turn 7-9. After that most aggro/tempo decks just silently concede and control decks get the situation of huge disadvantage.

Card explanation:

2 x Innervate. Gain board control early or do anything you want. Whatever! This cards are a must in the control druid decks in my opinion.

2 x Wild Growth. Gains you tempo in the early game against control (or gets the mana crystal you need for Tree of Life or one of your big dragons) or draws a card after turn 10.

2 x Wrath. No comments.

1 x Big Hunter. Your only hard removal, keep it safe. Usually kills Dr. Op, but anyway worth it. I tried to use Rend Blackhand, but he seems too situational and is better only vs a couple of decks.

2 x Blackwing Technician. One of the best 3 drops. Slow, but avoids almost any early removal, so a must too.

2 x Swipe. No comments.

2 x Hungry Dragon + 1 x Twilight Drake. These are the most controversial cards in this deck. Hungry Dragons can lure hard removals from control decks, but they also can bury you alive vs aggro decks, so they are usually placed on turn 6, so you could eliminate 1-cost minion with your hero power or on turn 4 after alive Technician, so he could kill this minion and leave just solid 5/6 body. Twilight Drake is great vs tempo and control, but if you draw him with 2-3 cards in your hand can become a pure disaster. I'm still thinking about the replacements for one of these three, but they unlock buffs for Technicians and ping for Corruptors way too often, so I'm just keeping them as solid 4-drops.

2 x Keeper of the Grove. No comments.

1 x Starfall. I like it cause it saved my ass like million times, e.g. with Azure against patron war. It is a very flexible card, which can be used to kill a big minion or to help you with the board domination.

2 x Azure Drake. A nice 5-drop, spell damage (for Swipe mostly) and a card draw plus unlocker for Technicians and Corruptors. A must.

2 x Blackwing Corruptor. A great card to avoid taunts or to eliminate the threat of an enemy like Huffer or Golem or anything with 3 hp.

2 x Druid of the Claw. Your only taunts, so play safely.

1 x Loatheb. Gives you another turn to survive against most meta decks now, so pretty much a must as well.

1 x Emperor Thaurissan. Makes your big guys a bit cheaper, so he fits this deck good too. Still can be replaced with healbot or one more dragon.

2 x Ancient of Lore. Can heal you from lethal or draw cards. Can't possibly be replaced in druid decks, I believe.

1 x Tree of Life. I tried the deck initially without this card, but way too often I got the situation when I have like 7-8 hp and enemy has 1-2 cards and just pushes my face, as I have no taunts and stuff. This thing wins games and it was the best replacement of Alextraza ever.

1 x Nefarian. Can win you a game, can just die of BGH and leave two useless spells in your hand. Still I believe he fits this deck pretty well.

1 x Ysera. Way too slow sometimes, but before she is on the board all the hard removals are usually out, so just enjoy free card draw and a solid body on the board. On turn 7 scares the shit out of priests, which is always fun.

If you show some attention, I will add possible plays, mulligan strategy and replacements.
