THE BASICS

This is a deck that I've designed over the last month or two that I've been playing Hearthstone. Since I do not have all that many legendaries aside from the Naxx ones yet, I decided to take full advantage of the ones that I do have, whilst also working to craft a powerful deck with some of the more basic/common cards. It should be fairly accessible to any players who have a decent amount of cards and all the Naxxramas legendaries, although those legendaries could be replaced if needed.

STRATEGY

The purpose of this deck is to gain an immediate early game advantage, by having some powerful low-mana minions to place into the field almost immediately (such as Micro Machine, Worgen Infiltrator, Sorcerer's Apprentice, etc.). Once you get a small lead and some board control, that's where the big guns come in, such as Piloted Shredder, Chillwind Yeti, and so on. The deck comes along with plenty of powerful cards like Polymorph and fireball, some of the most popular mage cards which can make a large impact on how you end up doing - you'll have an early board control advantage, and be prepared for whenever your opponent decides to play their strong stuff.

LEGENDARIES

The legendaries are reserved to help you finish things off once you get a lead going, or to possibly turn the tide in your favor if you have a weak start. For some reason, playing Loatheb makes your opponent act like a complete idiot and do some absolutely ridiculous plays (most players don't know how to react to it, and if you already have board control, Kel'Thuzad will help immensely in the end. The two legendary brothers required to summon Thaddius are excellent because opponents seem to always consider them a large threat and wipe them out right away - if you draw both at similar times, you will be set for an easy 11-11 character mid-game.

COUNTERS & WEAKNESSES

So long as you keep a solid level of board control and make your opponent waste all their mana in the start just trying to combat your cards, you may not even have to worry too much about the fearsome Patron Warrior combo. As long as you're able to distract your opponent long enough for Flamestrike to kick in, you should be smoothly sailing to victory by the end. The only type of deck which this one in particular doesn't do too well against is Zoolock, although I'm sure with some modifications it may be able to handle that. :)

CONCLUSIONS AND THANKS

If you use this deck as described, you should be doing pretty solidly in ranked, and beating almost every person you encounter if you choose to play casually. Although this will probably never be the #1 deck in the world, it is certainly a great deck for newer players, and is very fun to play as well. Good luck, and thanks for taking the time to check out my deck. Please be sure to leave some feedback and tell me how it works out for you. Thanks!
