Anyone who thinks this is another Mage Brawl is wrong. Always turn 1 Claw face, Wild Growth is broken, Innervate making a Wisp is actually really good when your turn 2 is Mark of the Wild plus Power of the Wild into turn 3 Savage Roar for pretty close to lethal. Backup plan is all of the insane Druid burn cards that also make 6-drops.
Currently 12-2 with both losses to other Druids.
Edit: It looks like this brawl is back. By the end of last time most people recognized that Druid was in fact miles better than both Mage and Priest so if you want your free pack, this is a good place to start. I finished last time this brawl was up with over 30 wins and exactly 3 losses playing only this deck and variations.
If you're looking for substitutions, you're in luck because this deck is busted even if you don't have a single rare. Everything that costs more than 4 mana is replaceable as well as the Mark of Nature and the Healing Touch. Good replacements include Clockwork Gnome, Moonfire, and the Troggs.
hahaha. so broken!! now i know how facetards feel!
Edit: Just went 6-0.. hahaha. feelsgoodman
It's really not that simple but thanks for sharing I guess?
Yeah, it's really not that hard to play around the mage secrets.
editing is not cool dude
Ahahahaahwosome!
Solid deck. Played as is. Sometimes you get the dream start and its LOLs from there.
Other times you get bad mulligans, and you just wait and then board clear and laugh.
I wish I could give you more then one +1
Turn 1 -> Coin + Wild Growth = Wisp and 2/3 on table
Turn 2 -> Savage Roar = Arcane Golem making that 15 dmg to the face.
Mage conceded. GG
I don't remember the spells I used but one game I had
(Turn 1)Target dummy + flametounge + target dummy
(Turn 2 had wild growth on 1) Mark of nature summoning arcane golem
(Turn 3) Savage roar for lethal GG
I imagine an emperor could work well here, i dropped a recycle for him ,seems to do pretty good! though its usually over by then, lol.
2 coin innervate thaurissian is hilarious, though.
While lowering cost can help you cast more thus do more on a single turn; it also lowers the value you get from casting spells. So let's say recycle normally getting you a 6 mana creature. It now would only give you a 5 mana creature. So the trade-off value has to be considered for cards like that.
Why?
Why would you want to summon shitty minions instead of good ones? Emperor is complete shit. If the enemy just ignores it, youre fucked. They will be playing 7 cost cards and you 3
Emperor is okay but not spectacular. Yes you get cheaper spells and cheaper > expensive even in this brawl. Unlike in constructed, that isn't enough of a benefit to be worth spending 6 mana on a 5/5 that doesn't come with a spell.
ah right, i only really thought of combo, this makes sense gaiz!
That just happened : Coin => wisp / Mark of the Wild on the wisp => Milouze / Innervate => wisp / Power of the Wild for +1/+1 => the 4/3 succube...
So you have a 4/4 taunt, a 5/5, a 5/4 and a little 2/2 on turn one... rage quit ^^
Wouldnt say broken. It works if you get a good opening hand but you will lose to mages.
Well I did at least.
And a priest..
And a Hunter of all things... :(
You're probably not playing aggressively enough. I've never lost to anything other than another Druid with about 40 games played. Mage should not be difficult at all but if you don't have an aggressive start or Soul of the Forest it's possible to lose to Priest.
As for the "good opening hand" claim, a good opening hand is anything with Innervate, a bunch of 2-cost cards, or both. If you get stuck with a bunch of expensive things, your grindy plan is actually way better than everyone else because you have a ton of card draw on top of the already good druid combo of Force of Nature plus Savage Roar, but that's rarely important because Roar kills by itself most of the time.
^ this..
Also there is no kill like over kill (I logged in to post this line really lol)
This deck rolls mage. You open so strong no matter what you pull. it's like coin innvervate power of wild. Everything synergises so well. This deck fills all gaps it's strong against agro swipe wrath starfall. It gets big mininons from casting those spells and it can burst you down to a loss at pretty much any point
i love the brawl matches. This looks rad.
Yeah druid wrecks people this format with all of their spell character and minion wide buffs. I found it hard to lose if you simply dump pretty much every druid spell in your deck.
