Early board control, sticky hard to remove minions, favorable trade,
----Changed 1 Crackle for 1 Hex----
No Kel'Thuzad ?
any replacement for [card]Sylvanas Windrunner[/card]
I swapped Azure Drakes for Sludge Belchers after playing a few days with them. I've liked the Belchers a lot.
and now u have only 1 card draw in deck gz
What do you guys think about:
-hex, shock, 2x azure
+mana tide (or replace both w acolyte), powermace, 2x nullifers for more taunt (block your tides) and powermace targets.
The deck seems slow at first, but you can't underestimate how inconvenient those eggs are to opponents who want to keep your board clear and build theirs. It's also a pain for opponents who rely on Knife Juggler or Flamewaker for a good part of their damage. All of the deathrattle stuff helps ensure you have some board to Bloodlust, if that card arrives. Sylvanas Windrunner plus Reincarnate is good, as always, at being an inconvenient or downright unfair play vs. control decks. And, of course, Dr. Boom is his usual well balanced self.
I've had 12 wins and 6 losses with it, playing it occasionally between ranks 15 and 10. I'm win-positive vs. mage, hunter and rogue, so far.
vs hunters, vs patrons, vs tempomage, vs freezemage, vs zoo? HOW?
wait next addon so... shaman top 9 now
can i switch the dragon eggs to something also?
cuz i have only 2 BRM wings open..
tnx!
I'm pretty sure you can. Dragon egg is pretty bad most of the time. Zombie chow might be a good choice.
I made a few minor changes, took our Dr. Boom (to make BGH useless), the Dragon Eggs, the Powermace (too few mechs to make it worth it) and the Bloodlust (usually a win more-card). Put in a second Earth Shock, a second Lightning Storm, Al'Akir the Windlord and a Zombie Chow. So far I have a pretty high winrate. :)
It seems like the sticky minions validate the use of Bloodlust. It gives the eggs another activator and can be a great finisher against slower decks.
In my experience, if you win with Bloodlust you will win without it too (obviously there are scenarios where you're a few damage off lethal with certain death the next turn, but those are pretty rare in my experience). Using Bloodlust to pop an egg seems fairly desperate, and with rockbiters, Flametongue Totems and Defender of Argus you have enough activators.
Obviously individual results vary, but in my personal experience the card never makes any difference.
It's often used to win before the opponent stabilizes and often times (with this deck anyway not your variant necessarily), your eggs get silenced or ignored and they become a source of 3 damage.
If you change 5 cards, it's not the same deck. Good luck with it, though.
I know the answer , but i still gotta ask :D
Is there any room for Onyxia in here ?
you need to remove both sets of eggs and replace with zombie chow and abusive sargent
I disagree. I played with Zombie Chow instead of Dragon Egg for about a week and while the Chow wasn't bad, switching to the Egg was an improvement. Chow can do work for sure, but he can also lose you games by giving the opponent that little bit of extra life.
We have potential to rush down the opponent and win before the life from Chow matters, but usually we win by out-valuing the opponent and keeping minions on the board for Flametongue Totem, Bloodlust, and Defender of Argus. We want them to have to remove all of our minions twice, and sneak in damage in between.
Well to each their own, my 11 games with your deck so far have proven unsuccessful against the aggro decks in the meta
I've been really enjoying this deck over the last week or so. It took me from 21-13 in no time. I've been reading comments from people saying it has trouble at higher levels, I guess I will find out soon. Right now the only thing slowing me down is how much time I have to play.
I was having a bit of trouble closing out some games that went long, so I swapped out 1x Azure Drake for Al'Akir the Windlord and it has made a huge difference for me. Dealing the last 6-12 damage out of nowhere and taking the game with him feels great.
I've also been experimenting with Sneed's Old Shredder in the place of Dr. Boom. No Dr. means I have 0 BGH targets, plus it gives me another solid Reincarnate target if Sylvanas Windrunner hasn't shown up. There's also the small chance Sneed's gets the bonus from Powermace.
