Play-Style:
Your overall goal is to be an Aggro deck, so getting in for as many points of damage as possible on your Opponents Face while making profitable attacks against Opponents Minions when possible. You need to get a hold of early board position and take it from there. If you lose your board position, using burn spells on too many minions will cost you the game.
Vs Warriors -
Control Warrior: Try to pressure your opponent as quickly as possible. However, if you have an Annoy-o-Tron to protect other minions from being devoured by Weapons, use him to protect strong minions like Whirling Zap-o-Matic. Deny as much armor and card advantage as you can from opposing Armorsmiths and Acolyte of Pains. Your minions are quite sturdy and hold up relatively well in this matchup. Hold Doomhammer until you can either Lethal them with some Rockbiter weapons or you find the time to get it down (Play around Harrison Jones). Using Powermace to clear minions is usually the correct move.
Patron Warrior: I find this matchup to be not nearly as bad as imagined. You are an aggressive deck that has sturdy/durable minions that are tough for your opponent to kill. As long as you can keep their board clear and apply damage/pressure every turn, you will have a great chance at winning this matchup. Be sure to play around Harrison Jones if at all possible because you can't afford to give a Patron Warrior the combo pieces they are missing.
Vs Mages -
Tempo Mage: In this matchup I believe you have the advantage. Keeping a Rockbiter in your hand provides an answer for Mana Wyrm which can pose a threat early in the game. Be sure to keep a Flamewalker off the table to deny your opponent machine gun value and easier trades. Lightning Storm is a nice Reset button to your minions on the board, so use it wisely (at least 2-3 minions worth of value). Try to save a weaker minion in your hand to play around Mirror Entity since you can't afford to give your opponent any of your minions 3-mana or above.
Freeze Mage: If you have an early start in this matchup, you will have a great chance at winning. The typical control Shaman has an Auto-Loss to freeze mage, but you apply enough pressure to pose a threat. Be sure to hold Earthshock for Doom Sayer to prevent a board clear. Try to hold Crackles and Lava Burst in your hand to deal the last few points of damage without needing combat damage (triggering Ice Barriers).
Vs Druid - Usually this match is determined by whoever has board position by T3. Keep your opponents minions clear to prevent blow outs and apply damage to your opponents face whenever you can. Be sure to play around Harrison Jones and not get your Doomhammer belonging in a museum.
Vs Paladin -
Aggro: Trying to get cards out of your hand and having a Lightning Storm are sure ways to a victory in this matchup. For the most part, make profitable attacks on opponents minions, but if you can't, push for face damage. I sense this matchup to be difficult if you don't have a Lightning Storm to reset your opponents board, so don't be surprised to lose.
Midrange/Control: If you can start the game with a decent board position and start applying face damage, I believe you will do just fine. Powermace is extremely important in this matchup, taking out Knife Jugglers, Shielded Minibots, Aldor Peacekeepers, and Piloted Shredders. Lightning Storm tends to also be pretty decent in this matchup since almost all Paladins play Muster for Battle (try to get at least 2-3 cards for your lightning storm).
Vs Hunter - This can be a bad matchup, but it's definitely less one-sided than typical Control Shaman. Early aggression/minions and Annoy-o-Tron are your friends in combat. So try to find minions that cost 3 mana or less in order to stand a chance here. Rockbiter Weapon on a minion is pretty awful because you can't afford to take extra damage, so try to use these for Whirling Zap or Doomhammer. For the most part, you are looking to push for Face Damage, but if you can make a profitable attack into an opponents minion, take it to soak up some damage.
Vs Shaman -
Mech: Be sure to have an answer for early Zap-o-Matics or Mechwarpers to slow down your opponent. Powermace is one of the strongest cards in this matchup because it can eat 2 minions and buff your own, so if you have 2 of these in your hand and you know it's a mech deck, keep them. The Lightning Storm in this deck can come in handy as well to help keep your board position alive and remove your opponents minions (try to get at least 2-3 cards of value). One card I noticed is a struggle to deal with is Annoy-o-Tron, but this works both ways. So if you have an aggressive start with Annoy-o-Tron, maybe you should consider becoming aggressive and attacking your opponents face.
Control: I feel like this matchup isn't that bad, but it can be tough depending on what the opening hands/draws look like. Try to keep their board cleared as best as possible to prevent Flametongue Blowouts. Your 3-mana and higher minions are quite durable and will hopefully give your opponent trouble. Powermace is still extremely strong here as it is in most matchups, so try to clear minions with your weapons before minions.
Vs Warlock -
Aggro: This matchup can be troublesome depending on who is more aggressive from the start. Powermace is extremely useful as well as Lightning Storm to get you value. Try to make profitable attacks if possible (not trades, but attacks) and push for as much face damage as possible. Eventually you will need to be able to kill them with your burn spells. Try to use Earth Shock on Nerubian Eggs to prevent 4/4 blowouts.
Control: Try to be as aggressive as you can, start with stronger minions first to "test" your opponents removal spells. If you can afford to, play around Hellfire and Shadowflame to prevent blow outs. Earth Shock is your only great way to clear a Taunt, so try to save it for one, otherwise getting great value from a Twilight Drake is acceptable. Save Crackles and Lava Burst do finish off your opponent from behind Taunts.
Vs Rogue - This is a tough matchup just because of how much early removal Rogues have in their arsenal. Try to protect stronger minions with Annoy-o-Tron best you can. Usually it's correct to hold Whirling Zap-o-Matic if you have the chance until after they've used some removal. Try to use your Loatheb to setup a hiccup turn for your opponent and potentially setup lethal for the next turn. There is almost no value in Earth Shock, so use it however you'd like. Powermace again is your strongest card in this matchup, but try to get the Deathrattle on a small minion, that way if it gets Sap'ped you can at least recast the minion next turn with ease.
Vs Priest - Again, Powermace is your strongest card in this matchup, being able to clear minions and buff your own minions. Your minions are also pretty durable and strong, so being able to keep your opponents board cleared or apply enough pressure seems feasible. Unfortunately, Injured Blademaster + Circle of Healing or Auchenai Soulpriest + Circle of Healing can lead to blowouts, so try to play around Soulpriest at least. Be careful of getting Flametongue Totem captured by Cabal Shadow Priest. Also think about which minions you play in order to play around Shadow Madness. You have the tools to win this matchup (more so than Control Shaman) so use them wisely.
Adapting to your Meta:
More Aggro decks? -1 Mechanical Yeti +1 Lightning Storm
More Control? -1 Lightning Storm +1 Mechanical Yeti or Azure Drake
Make other changes as you see fit or if you just have the urge to try something new.
Card Choices:
1x Clockwork Gnome - There are a lot of classes that have a way to deal with Clockwork Gnome easily, however for the ones that don't have an easy way, we still include 1x for early Tempo and Damage.
1x Lightning Storm - There has been quite a few Aggro decks running around and in order to stand a chance at beating them, you must have at least one way to clear their board without trading away your own minions.
1x Mechanical Yeti - We needed another 4-drop minion that was a Mech and was sturdy to fit the curve a little better. Spare parts are practically irrelevant, but occasionally you can get something useful in a match.

FAQ:
Q - 2k Dust and Naxx? That seems like an expensive "budget."
A - These guides are intended for people looking to spend some Dust/Gold and have the ability to acquire at least the bare essential Adventure Mode, Naxxramas. Budget is much different than F2P, which is why I don't label my decks and guides as F2P to cause confusion. Budget means you are willing to spend a little, where as F2P means ...well....Free.
Q - Budget Not a Problem?
A - This is what I recommend: http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/271158-mech-shaman
Q - Any replacement for Doomhammer?
A - The deck becomes much less consistent without Doomhammer, but I suppose you could play either a Mech Yeti or an Azure Drake for now. However if I were to compare the power level between Doomhammer and Mech Yeti/Azure Drake, it would be like Bert or Ernie (from Sesame Street) becoming Batman. I feel Gotham City is becoming safer already. (Kappa) ^^

Thank you for checking out this deck and I hope it works well for you,

Have been using it and it's done great so far from 16 to 10 with 71% win rate (27-11). I don't have Loatheb yet so I replaced it with Mukla's Champion. Thanks for this!
I made a few changes... -1 Cogmaster | -1 Mechanical Yeti | -1 Azure Drake | + 1 Antique Healbot | +1 Tinkertown Technician | + 1 Jeeves.
I find Jeeves to be very useful in cases i run out of cards. However i still don't know which version of this deck is more consistent.
Hi wings. First time on heartpwn.
I've been mostly an arena grinder and had never really played ranked until a couple of days ago. I noticed I had accumulated many of the popular mechs and already had thrown together the beginnings of a mech mage but was still missing some key pieces So one day I thought to see if I could put together a more complete mech shaman deck and played a few games of ladder to test it. I ended up doing really well and kept going all the way up to rank 12 which is where I am now. Although my win rate really good, I started feeling though like maybe the deck could be better and so came here to see how I might improve the deck and what the endgame might look like for building.
It turns out this deck was quite similar to the one I had made which surprised me.
I am missing 1 Annoy-o-Tron, 1 Piloted Shredder, 1Crackle, 1 Powermace, andDoomhammer.
Some of the replacement cards I've been using are a 2nd Clockwork Gnome, Micro Machines, Lightning Bolt, Harvest Golems, Tinkertown Technician, Hexes and Bloodlust.
I currently have 1200 dust so I have enough to finish this list, but I was hoping to save up for Dr. Boom which could fit into many more decks.
My goal is to get to Rank 5 by the end of the season which ends in a couple of days I believe so I can get the Tier 1 rewards for laddet. My question to you is do you think I can make it to Rank 5 in time with the deck in its current state. Which ones to craft and is Doomhammer worth it if that's my only goal? Can I even make it playing with just this 1 deck?
Thanks for the guide!
I'm not a fan of adding Bloodlust to a deck that only reliably has 2 minions on board at a time. Bloodlust tends to work in control plans as a finisher, because you deal with your opponents board and have a bunch of totems left over for burst damage. This deck can't support that type of strategy.
Hope this was helpful!
Good luck and grind on,
-Wings
Good Deck so far 3-0 however face is kinda of annoying so i added a healbot instead of yeti like i read in comments and put in sneeds old shredder Thanks!*edit also i am rank 5
Great Deck,
I Swapped Mechanical Yeti for Antique Healbot, dropped lavaburst added Hex and don't have DoomHammer.
Any replacement for Lightning Storm? Please
Sorry for the delayed response, been a busy work week.
I would recommend either a Tinkertown Technician, a Harvest Golem, or a 2nd Mech Yeti depending on what you are needing.
Good luck and grind on,
-Wings
First off all, I really appreciate your work. Really awesome, but ive got one question :
I want to built a budget midrange mech shamane deck, what changes would you do to this aggro deck ? I've got drboom btw.
I really like every single deck you made. Keep on the great work !!
Sorry for the late response, been a wild week at work!
Glad to hear you've had enjoyed the decks and series! In this deck I would replace the Mech Yeti with Dr Boom.
Good luck and grind on,
-Wings
Using this for my F2P tournament account on NA. Don't have Loatheb on that account, so I swapped it for a Dr. Boom :) Thanks for the decklist!
Glad the list could be of some help! Good luck in the Tournament!
any replacement for doom hammer?
Someone had asked me this not long ago in the Non-Budget section of this deck. Here's his question and my response follows.

This will be submitted to the FAQ now!
Hope this is helpful! Good luck and grind on,
-Wings
I know Doomhammer is a tough replacement but what do you suggest I replace it with until I get 400 dust I own everything else

Also what if I only have one Powermace? What should I replace it with??? I replaced it with a Tinkertown Technitian because I thought it would be good to replace it with something that gets a boost from a mech.
Tinkertown is a fine replacement for now, however I'd come up with 100 dust asap since that's not a lot and Powermace is the strongest card in this deck (outside of Whirling Zap-O-Matic).
Good luck and grind on,
-Wings
I up voted just for all of that time put into the description I mean like wow. GG
Well thank you for noticing the effort. ^^
Took quite a bit of time, but I'm glad I followed through and could help players out in the long run.
Good luck and grind on,
