Hello guys!
I am Morgoth, and I'm showing you my original new Demonlock! I didn't netdeck it, so it comes completly on my own! The great difference from other demon decks is Sacrificial Pact, a card that can literally change your day!
Against Warlock
--> Jaraxxus insta kill
---> Demons insta kill
Against Hunter
--> improve survivability
Against Mage
--> counter to Mirror Entity, you play a demon, the mage copies it and then you sacrificial pact him!
Against Priest
--> countered thoughtsteal
IF YOU WANT TO HAVE A COMPLETE GUIDE TO THE DECK, pls 20 LIKE!
Unfortunately this deck can't deal with Patron warrior at all (a hard counter), so I really don't see it doing so well with the current meta. A fun deck to take into unranked though...but I just see it as just that (a "fun" deck).
Gave this deck 12 runs. 2-10 opponents favor R8-10.
Good matchups: Druid, Shaman
Bad Matchups: Mage, Hunter, Warlock, Priest, Warrior, Paladin
Loses horribly to tempo mage
Loses horribly to aggro.
Doesn't match heavy control shenanigans.
Explanation:
T 1 and 2 are dead. - tempo loss
T 3 - imp gang boss or tempo loss
T4 - implosion or 4 cost minion VS* board usually populated - tempo loss.
--insert hopeful malganis/doomgaurd voidcaller (wishful thinking)
T5 Sludge belcher or heal yourself because you're dying. - weak play vs populated boards.
T6 hope to god you have a bunch of tech cards saved up to wipe the board. (Poverwelming + Sflame/hellfire) but then.. you hand over tempo.
...
Molten giants with no taunts with you usually at 10-14 life. - Game over.
Overall you want to synergize the 1/1 imps or voidcaller with sac pact, but out of 12 games this worked in my favor 1 time. Called out malganis after healing up, but was BGH'ed. Out of 5 mage fights, not once was i able to work around mirror entity with summoning a demon and eating it. Easy already to play around secrets - throw in a kezan mystic or weenies for the early game that this deck is sorely missing.
Overall its just weak in every area.
P.S - how does having sac pact counter thought steal? - this deck is full of demons, not to mention you can also be 1 shot by having jaraxxus in here... ZZZZ
This deck works surprisingly well for me as I complete my 3 Warlock quests :D
I used some substitutions because I don't have certain cards, like Bane of Doom > DemonHeart, Dr. Boom -> Big Game Hunter and Jaraxxus -> Power Overwhelming. Also I change one Siphon Soul for a Mistress of Pain because I think 2 siphons are too slow, and there's like only 4 demons that Void Caller can summon.
Thanks!
I used to play sacrificial pact too but against priest I was always scared of thoughtsteal. It's hard to play Jaraxxus right after a thoughtsteal :)
Anyway your deck makes me wanna play it again, thanks, I'll try it.
