FROSTBURN

STRONG vs Hunter/Mage/Warlock/Rogue/Shaman/Druid/Warrior

OK vs Priest

WEAK vs N/A

9/23/2016 : [REPLACED 15 CARDS FOR STANDARD]

11/29/2015 - Took out a Fireball and Frostbolt to make Reno Jackson more reliable. Brought back Arcane Missiles and Blizzard.

11/26/2015 - Finally obtained an Arcane Blast to replace my Arcane Missiles

11/22/2015 - MAJOR CHANGES DUE TO "THE LEAGUE OF EXPLORERS"

10/03/2015 - Came back from a short hiatus to update this deck and guide for TGT.

6/19/2015 - Took out an Arcane Intellect for one Bloodmage Thalnos

6/14/2015 - Switched out an Azure Drake with a Kezan Mystic, does really well in the current meta.

6/13/2015 - Swapped Alexstrasza for Dr. Boom because by the time I get to 9 Mana the opponent is usually around 15 HP. Playing Dr. Boom turn 7 and Antonidas Turn 8 with a 1 Mana Spell/Ring is better than Alexstrasza. Win % has gone up as a result.

6/12/2015 - Replaced both Molten Giants with Loatheb & [card]Emperor Thaurissan[/card] for faster plays and a stronger mid game. I end up winning most of my games without the Giants anyway.

NEW KEY PLAYERS

Boosted End Game potential with the addition of Medivh, the Guardian. High Tempo Combos when combined with Firelands Portal/Cabalist's Tome/Flamestrike/Etc.

  • Medivh is there to secure the win, to give you that extra push when you need it. Wait to play him when you have board control or when the board is "Neutral". He is not the answer if you're fighting an uphill battle - that's where Yogg comes in,

I love Yogg-Saron, he can literally get you out of any sticky situation and he is unbelievably fun to play.

  • The optimal time to play Yogg in this deck is when the Spell Counter is 10+ and when your Deck has 12+ Cards.
  • Yogg tends to make you draw a ton of cards so remember to make room.
  • Only play him when you have no other answer. Good counter to N'Zoth, the Corruptor.
