Stats - http://i.imgur.com/UNuLOZs.png
Stats are from rank 15 to legend. Decklist is the same as last month. Lots of warrior/warlock/hunter this month. My matchup vs. zoo improved over time. Mage was an unfavorable matchup this month (compared to 50% winrate previous months).
hello fireguard destroyer really necessary?
You have to race them. Sometimes you have annoy o trons to help you, other times you don't and you probably lose.
hey nice deck i run one pretty similar myself, i dont have rag tho and wanted to know the reason of him being in the deck and some possible replacements thanks!
How have the Fireguard Destroyers been?
Haven't tried the deck, but by the looks of it it looks like you might as well run murloc Shaman. Same concept, win within the early game or bust.
A couple of cards I consider not very good: lava burst, doomhammer, and fel reaver. I think most would defend doomhammer but in my experience doomhammer is a tempoloss because of the OL on it, and it's not really a 5 drop and is ideal in a situation where you're already winning. This is more-so the case with zoo decks favoring 3+ health minions.
Maybe it all works in practice, but from my experience I wouldn't rate this deck all that high even if you managed to grind legend with it.
Murloc shaman? Are you trolling? Or just a stunningly textbook example of the Dunning-Kruger effect in action?
Lava Burst, Doomhammer and Fel Reaver are all important cards in this deck. Fel Reavers are one of the deck's main win conditions .You don't remove a primary win condition. Lava Burst is a key removal for annoying stuff like Belchers, as well as for face damage; it works great. Finally, Doomhammer is a secondary win condition that can also help you establish board control in the mid-game.
Thousands of people have had success with this deck, including many friends of mine as well as numerous top level pros who play it regularly. I trust them more than some anonymous troll on the internet. I just got my second Fel Reaver (finally) and I am running Zveno's list, myself, and it's doing well. It's a solid, if not necessarily spectacular, aggro deck. (I've been very skeptical of this deck, myself. I think it's somewhat overrated and over-hyped. But that does NOT mean the same thing as bad.)
So, you run along now and go play with your murloc shaman, have fun with that, trolololo!
I just can't get this deck to work for me. I can't get above rank 17. Whenever I play fel reaver the opponent always has an answer for it or mills me to oblivion. When I don't draw fel reaver I can't get the any of my mechs to stay alive to attack.
to be honest it sounds like you're just misplaying, i don't consider myself overly good at this game but if i can get rank 10 using only basic card mage then you should be able to get higher than rank 17 using this. Make sure to mull for early mechs and play aggresively while using your weapons and taunts to establish board control.
I was having some trouble with the deck too. Just watch someone really good play with it and it really helps.
I am getting milled and rekt by tempo spellmage quite often when playing this deck^^
The cogmasters is correct. Sorry about that, it's fixed now.
Congrats on golden shaman! great deck ty :)
Looks awesome, except I am hesitant about 1 x Fel Reaver, let alone 2!
There are no combo's in the deck, no card relies an another individual card to be good, all cards stand on own. Of course the mech synergy required for Cogmaster, Mechwarper, and Powermace is heavily present throughout the deck with a total of 12 mechs within the deck. The only combo that exists that I see is Doomhammer and Rockbiter Weapon however both cards work wonders on own.
Fel Reaver played on curve forces opponent to answer and if they get greedy with a mill attempt well, they will be punished. The bigger worry with Fel Reaver is neutralizing effects like freeze and Aldor Peacekeeper and Humility but that is only two classes to worry about and given the deck creators stats it appears that freeze is the bigger concern.
Don't view the discarded cards as "lost" view them as they were on the bottom of the deck, this deck doesn't last much beyond turn 8 anyways and the likelyhood of being milled to death is highly unlikely.
don' forget whirling zap-o-matic into double rockbiter for a possible 18 to face turn 2!
