Hey there,

So, like many people, I've been having a difficult time defeating Lord Victor Nefarius on Heroic difficulty. I tried several Paladin decks. I tried a Druid deck. And after about two and a half hours of failure after failure I was about to lose my mind. I dug a little deeper and came across someone's Warrior deck that they had built for the occasion, and it intrigued me so much that I decided to make some adjustments and call it my own. I went back to Nefarius with this new decklist and, lo and behold, beat him on my first try. Now I'm here, to share it with you wonderful people!

HOW TO WIN

Essentially, you win by letting Nefarius fatigue himself to death. His hero power, "Wild Magic", combined with this deck's lack of appropriate spell targets (minions) will quickly result in Nefarius filling up his hand, with no way of emptying it. As a result, each turn he'll burn the top card of his deck and then let you stack up tons of Armor and hit his face with your Weapons. Rinse, lather, repeat until he eventually dies of Fatigue while you are safely protected behind an impressive stack of Armor.

Trapping Nefarius with a full hand of unusable cards will take around 7 turns, RNG dependent. In the meantime, use your removal spells to clear any minions he summons as efficiently as possible. Brawl and Bouncing Blade are two of your best tools; using them as quickly and as efficiently as possible will win you the game. The goal is to get rid of his minions and survive until his hand fills up and he begins to mill. Don't stress if you run low on health before this happens...Getting to 12 health or less will actually improve the power of Revenge and Mortal Strike.

Once Nefarius is stuck, hit face with your Weapons and use your hero power, "Armor Up!" each turn.

I hope this helps others who are struggling with this boss!
