Guys, that deck is going to be amazing, just belive it ;)
In early game pretend to be normal druid deck and wait for opportunity to play some combos including mukla, murlocs, naturalize and brewmaster, many decks have some draw power, let them kill themselves ;)
Note: attacking Acolyte of Pain with Shapeshift is awesome!
Edit: ok, now Im trying more control version, added Sunwalker and Healing Touch, also I get great suggestion about Loatheb, comination with Mukla for 6 cost bananas and huge board pressence. it also helps us to keep his hand filled and gives us one turn more to mill him :) I just started to test it but it looks great:)
I like the deck! I use slightly more heals and less taunts, but same general idea.
If anyone could check out my version, I would be grateful for feedback - thanks in advance!
When GvG is out this deck can use so many new tools, Kripp made pretty decent mill, deck in my form isn't even close to it ;)
Maybe... I haven't play this deck for a long time, but I'll give it a shot ;)
I have seen a couple people use Lorewalker Cho in Druid Mill, after playing him they would use cards like Wild Growth and Naturalize since both cards aren't very good for the opponent. And he also forces removal (which you will get a copy of <3)
Giving him Naturalize is good because you are effectively giving yourself draw power and if he uses it on Cho then you get a free Naturalize to mill him faster!
Plus there is powerful synergy with him and Loatheb, as both discourage spell usage resulting in the opponent either giving you spells or risking card destruction.
You might be right, I'll try it ;)
As much as I love this deck, I think I'm gonna have to wait until handlock, miracle rogue, or something else with a lot of card draw becomes popular again. Right now the midrange hunter seems really popular, which completely wrecks most druids, incuding this one. I tried it in casual mode, but it seems like it's just a lot of new players who don't have any card draw whatsover, so it doesn't actually work against them.
yup, its true, to defeat hunter with this deck u would need to fill your board with creatures to let him draw 9000 cards with uth, its my only strategy vs them, and it doesnt always work, its kinda sad, we have only 30 cards in deck and we're not able to put every card which we need in it... so we skip our drawpower... and murlocks dont want to show up... but its still the most enjoyable deck Ive ever played ;)
I see what you did here, sounds so great, Im putting Loatheb in this deck asap! :)
I don't have Mukla, so I replaced him with Rivendare to complement the Dancing Swords, Belcher, and Ghouls. Seems to be working out.
I actually find this to be like in my top 5 of favorite decks. Also, i think i heard Reynad say that mill druid is actually kinda close to being viable ( got me to rank 13 not that that says much). Although i use a very different deck than this one that tries to really use brewmasters (always fun to bring back my BGH against handlock) i will have to give this deck a chance. Sadly i haven't posted my deck deck anywhere yet so i don't have a link but ill try to get one.
stay tuned, I'll finally play it tonight, and I'll post my thoughts about strategy here ;)
I havent play this since... long time anyway, and this deck pretty often wins without fatigue, so I guess that your version is better, but it's not so enjoyable ^^ Burnig Leeroy vs miracle, giants vs handlock or alexstraza vs freezemage... Priceless :)
Would ditch mana wraiths for double doomsayer, and no deck is mill/hand control without lorewalker.
Mana wraiths will be replayced by dancing swords, and about lorewalker... I tried to play him, and maybe it's just me, but he didn't make it, we don't want to give our spells to opponent and we're not able to fill his hand this way, moreover opponent would be able to fill our hand, and we need most of our cards to survive ;) Lorewalker is fine if you have some cheap spells which does not hurt us to give them to our opponents, we dont want to give him aoe, naturalize will mill us as fast as our opponent so this is not good for us too, wrath/claw... maybe them but I often use them before cho is on board, so cho doesn't do anything ;)
