The Witchwood Guide
Trump's Basic Priest DeckUnknown creation date.
I don't believe this deck holds up in the modern game (Jul 2016)
I must say this is one of the best starter deck I played so far. I played on Standard - Casual and average winning rate is at 59%.
Here are the status; 59% Win | 90 Wins | 63 Loses.
Thanks for this great deck.
if your fresh off the boat this would be a great start. but if your running the ladder i would be shocked if this got you past rank 19
That's the whole point of all Trump's starter decks is to be able to use them right off the bat (or when you get to level 10).
I made a little bit of changes based on the cards I had. I added a couple of silences, and cards to close the game out. Tell me what you think. I a
Very good deck, but i put a Sun Walker for a little taunt for extra plays
Really great control deck! I replaced 1 Bloodfen Raptor with Amani Berserker, cause it easier for him to stay alive (with priest ability and Power Word: Shield).
What should i change first in this deck if i want to upgrade it?
Would prefer an update to his deck combination.
Nice deck to start from.I traded some more expensive minions for cheaper and fast ones to tune into my playstile, but in general the idea of the deck is preserved. Thanks a lot! =)
I'm using a heavily modified version, but so far I really think this is a great value deck!
Nice deck! thanks =)
Very nice deck. It work properly.
I have a bit of a Basic Plus version of this deck. Faerie Dragon to replace the Bloodfen Raptor, Loot Hoarder to replace Novice Engineer and Temple Enforcer in favor of Boulderfist Ogre. I like it.
I tried using the Faerie Dragon but I didn't like how I couldn't heal it.
This decks pretty cool ands worked out pretty well for me so far, some changes I've made. Switched Out Chillwind yeti for a couple light spawns and The Boulderfists for Temple enforcers I also switched bloodfin raptors for a couple of knife jugglers, same stats but knife juggler brings a proc ability that will allow a little more control. And last but not least i took out Mind control (not once in 7 games have i had the chance to use this) and Stormwind champion (I've never really enjoyed using stormwind) for two Soulpriests. I feel these changes have enhanced the gameplay of this deck and adds a little, not to much price to the deck.
Can someone tell me things to add on this deck if I want to make it better?
yeah u gotta get rid of the mind control simply because of its cost.
