Hello, my name is Sejra and I'm amateur player of hearthstone. Today I wanna show you my new deck: Control Dragon Shaman. I'm rank 5 with it right now with 80% win rate.
Your goal is clear up the board with low cost minions like Zombie Chow, Haunted Creeper and Blackwing Technican, make card advantage by Chromagus and then end your oponent with Bloodlust.
Mulligan guide : face hunter : zombie chow, haunted creeper, defender of argus and lighting storm
midrange/ramp druid : blackwing technican ( with hungry dragon or azure drake), zombie chow and haunted creeper
mech mage : zombie chow, blackwing technican (with hungry dragon or azure drake) and lighting storm
tempo mage : zombie chow, blackwing technican (with hungry dragon or azure drake) and haunted creeper
midrange/control paladin : zombie chow, defender of argus, nerubian egg, piloted shredder
control priest : zombie chow, blackwing technican (with hungry dragon or azure drake) and nerubian egg
oil rogue : zombie chow, blackwing technican (with hungry dragon or azure drake) and nerubian egg
midrange/bloddust shaman : zombie chow, defender of argus, nerubian egg and piloted shredder
handlock : zombie chow, nerubian egg, haunted creeper and big game hunter
zoo : zombie chow, nerubian egg, haunted creeper and defender of argus
control/grimm patron warrior : zombie chow, haunted creeper and blackwing technican (with hungry dragon or azure drake)
This is a bad deck.

Look at these decks. They are control decks. The difference between them, and this deck, is that they have much better clears, and they have healing. This deck has very weak board clear, only one Lightning Storm, and has no healing. Which means if you don't win the early game convincingly, you are dead. Which means it is not really a control deck.
Combined with that you are running 2xFlametongue and Bloodlust, which makes it even more important to win the early game and maintain a board presence.
Arguably a Shaman control deck will be built around maintaining your early board, particularly with taunts, since they do not actually have strong clearing or healing. This deck doesn't even do that as well as slower control decks such as that paladin one.
Hungry Dragon and Fireguard destroyers are tempo cards and not control cards. And there are too many single cards that make the early game unpredictable, inconsistent, and spread too thin trying to stop every possible deck.
You need to decide if it is actually control or tempo. And you need to solve the early game and actually build around flametongues if you plan to use them, which would at least mean +1 zombie chow and -1 Egg. And commit to your removal, in the case of control you need 2 Lightning Storm, don't bring only 1 of those early game cards, bring the ones that fit what archtype you want. Actualy shaman control cards would also include Crackle and maybe even Ancestral Healing, Shaman must rely on taunts because of the lack of healing, without taunts the deck must be early-game or tempo focused.
The Blackwing Corruptor is one of the main reasons to run Dragons for me. I'm quite curious to why you left him out... I'd sub him in for the Piloted Shredder, I think. Yes, Shredder is great, but having 4 Fire Elemental is huge!
Looks like a good deck to me. If I tried it I would probably switch out Emperor for Sky Golem for another sticky minion. Has Emperor earned his keep for you in this deck?... just curious. I haven't gotten him to work in Shaman yet.
Looks like an interesting idea, trying it out now. Wish I saw this sooner looks fun :)
Just wondering, do you guys craft these legendaries or just open a ton of packs? I play a control Shaman with only 1 Legendary and thats Hogger.
Three of the legendaries in this deck are in the adventures, no dust, no packs.
In general, legendaries are aquired by going infinite in arena.
Just wondering why bloodlust is in here, it seems a bit gimmicky
if you get it early - just keep it for the big finishing move
if u get it in late game - you will get it to the right moment 80% of the games.
won a lot of games just because of this card
Just wondering why bloodlust is in here, it seems a bit gimmicky
i dont have dr.boom so i replaced him with faceless manipulator.
6 wins / 7 games played until now, i like this deck!
last game i played chromaggus in round 9 - enemy had only 1 card left and could not counter him - next round i played faceless manipulator on chromaggus + azure drake = 1+2 extra cards and 2x6/8 + 4/4 on the board -> your opponent left :P
I replaced dr-boom for sylvannas or should i replace it with ragnaros? (i dont have boom)
Very good deck, thanks!
The only thing i didn't agree was the egg, sometimes I coudn't activate it. Replaced with lava shock for additional removal.
Is it smart to skip the egg or one technician for a healbot if you face a lot of aggro-decks?
btw: nice deck. :P
Amazing! 4 wins in a row until now
