I finally decided to upload this deck because I'm tired of reading the forums about how everyone is struggling on this guy even with the KT + Taunt glitch because KT can still die.
This deck will answer all your problems with this boss because literally the only way you lose is if you don't have Innervate and Alarm-O-Bot in your opening hand.
The trick with this deck is that you dont even need legendaries. You just put 2 Alarmo-o-Bots and 2 Innervates, 2 Naturalize and 2 Healing Touches and the rest of the deck is the biggest and fattest minions you have in your collection. The Alarmo-o-Bot on turn 1 brings out a huge minion and you use that minion to trade with every minion he puts down repeating this process with the Alarm-o-Bot until he kills it with swipe or flamestrike. In my case he didn't have swipe so I had a bunch of giants out there and because this combo is so cheap you can spend all your mana getting rid of his stupid spells AFTER you kill his minions on the board and then the game becomes simple.
Problem solved...you're welcome.
It just so happens that an old friend of mine has a PhD in math with a focus on combinatorics. (He's also published in peer-reviewed journals.) I ran this scenario by him, and he first came up with 5.1% as the lower bound just for a 4-card hand, without factoring in the mulligan:
He had a bit more free time time later today, so using this technique he came up with 8.58% as the lower bound when you factor in the effect of the mulligan. (If he missed a case, the odds could be even higher, but he's too busy right now to bother to go more in-depth unless someone else comes up with a vastly different number. Here's his work, if you want to try to puzzle out how he got that number.)
So, there you have it. There's a better than 2/25 chance of getting the cards you need in your hand for the first turn.
If you wanna apologize for being such a jerk when you didn't have any idea what you were doing, that'd be cool. Otherwise, I'm just gonna be basking in the warm glow of knowing how deeply embarrassing this must be for you.
never tell me the odds
Got Alarmo Innervate literally first try (Alarmo in hand immediately, Mulligan'd other two cards for Innervate). Won on my first try. Highly doubt odds given by proto above.
Tbh, mulligan doesnt really make the chance higher.
Throwing a dice twice doesnt make the chance of you getting a six higher than 1/6.
Buying a lottery 365 times doesn't mean it's easier for you to win the lottery.
After about 30 mulligans and 2 attempts. I have decided to mark them down as I go so you too can feel my pain. Here is an account of my hell. x got it. He killed bot third turn. x,x got it pulled deathwing Dragonloard. Got him! 3rd try. Because that's how it works. I can't catch a break and as soon as I start making a record of it the universe is, "Oh shit, he's on to us! Run."
May the mulligans be ever in your favor.
Took a couple tries but finally got it after spending hours on this boss with other decks. Thank you +1
Took me a fucking while to get KT and a Taunt, like 12 tries, but made it easily in the end. Thanks for the idea!
Aviana Helps
That was fun. 2nd try.
This deck is great! I looked everywhere for a deck that consistently did nothing and then simply lost on turn 5--and that's exactly what this deck does! Thanks! I had to quit playing this other deck because it worked too well :(
Absolute rubbish 100%. I have not won in 10 attempts. As others have said this is based on pure, low chance, RNG.
Agreed to a point. I got alarm o bot first two games at opener. Won the 2nd. He ignores it. Lost the next 3 without it.
If you've gone 10 games without the opener, then it's just bad luck. But getting all extreme and calling it "absolute rubbish" is exaggeration. Plus "rubbish" is a British word. The Internet is American goddam it.
Won with literally the first try; didn't get the bot in my starting hand, played one I drew turn 3 that got swiped, still won. Threw in an Alexstraza for self-heal (Don't think you can use her on BRM bosses), and a sludge belcher for some more protection
Even with the opening hand, I lost; He got a perfect flamestrike and wiped all my tempo right out of the board. I only recommend this deck for those who bathe in luck.
Job done Thanks. Took me a looong while and i even tried to force the combo a few times when having only one of two cars, but managed to make it and then it was just too perfect. Was about to post that this would be a huge waste of time, but good i tried more :D
Dream came true: first turn Innervate + Alarm-o-Bot, 2nd turn Kel'Thuzad, 3rd turn Sunwalker, gg!
I got alarm o bot innervate ironbark first try, with those conditions its a pretty good deck
BEST DECK!
Let me fix your assessment of your deck for you...
"This deck will answer all your problems with this boss (with a horribly inconsistent solution) because literally the only way you

In my case he didn't have swipe (Which is a HUGE factor in the ability of this deck to succeed) so I had a bunch of giants out there and because this combo is so cheap you can spend all your mana getting rid of his stupid spells AFTER you kill his minions on the board and then the game becomes simple."
*Fixed it for you. You're welcome.
Troggzor the Earthinator is an absolute beast in this fight. Guessing it wasn't in your collection when you built this deck?
Not everybody has the same cards.I don't have it either
