Hello guys!
I just hit rank 1 legend with this list created by my friend Tryndamere. The list is perfect in my opinion so I figured I'd share it.
General strategy:
First of all, zoo is a control deck, not a rush deck! You win by gaining early board control and making efficient trades every turn! Cards like abusive servant and power overwelming help you do that. Always play around the AEO removal from the class you are facing, like consecrate / Swipe etc. Of course this is elementary knowledge, but it is the most important thing to do.
Matchups:
Easy matchups: Mage (mech), shaman, priest, paladin, druid,
Mage: Against (mech)mage look for a good curve and just keep trading with all the mechs and you will win easy.
Shaman: Same as above, just play out your curve and trade. Play around Lightning Storm when you can. Popping narubian egg before it gets earth shocked is a good play too.
Priest: Same as above, should be an easy game. Trade efficiently and play around Holy Nova and Circle of Healing combo.
Paladin: Always play around consecrate obviously, narubian egg is a very good counter against consecrate.
Druid: Don't play against druid with turn 2 Wild Growth. Power overwelming is the best card to keep against druid.
Hard matchups: Warrior (Grim Patron), Warlock (Handlock), hunter (Face), Rogue,
Warrior (Grim Patron): Very difficult matchup when they have early board clears, Just keep clearing and suicide off your own small minions so he can't get value from charging Grim Patrons. Winning board control is always key to winning the match with zoo.
Warlock (Handlock): This is one of the hardest matchups, just try to get him down to 15health by turn 5 just above molten giants range and hope you draw into power overwelming/Doomguard as the finisher.
Hunter (Face): Always keep Defender of Argus in the opening hand, it is key to winning the game. When you managed to argus something like Imp Gang Boss [/card]+ [card]narubian egg, consider racing the hunter and going face.
Rogue: Don't pop your narubian eggs too soon, it is a good ensurance against Blade Flurry. This is a really hard match, but if you manage to play Loatheb while having a board, you win. Power overwelming is great for trading against rogue minions like Violet Teacher and Azure Drake.
Key notes:
* Power Overwelming is good against most classes
* Imp Gang Boss is always a good turn 3.
* Voidcaller is a card I always like to keep in my opening hand! Sometimes when I'm greedy I keep it together with Doomguard or malganys.
* Big Game Hunter Saved my ass so many times. It is the reason I managed to get Rank 1.
* Loatheb Closes out games when you are ahead.
Changes
- Loatheb + Dr. Boom
- flame imp + Sylvanas

Dodo, he was talking to MVP not you lol. The way I read it was that acro was agreeing with you and suggesting that MVP is rank 20 heh. I agree though, there are some decisions that Zoo takes where Facehunter makes no decisions only goes face.
With Harvest Golem, it's not as good but it will do the job just fine.
Harvest Golem is the only replacement really
can you play this without mal ganis?
You can replace it with Ragnaros, and set up lethal, but Mal'Ganis has really good synergy with the void callers
What about Lord Jaraxxus replacement for Mal'Ganis?
I'd consider it too slow. You are rarely under 15 hp with board control, and you don't have the board control you lose the game no matter what. 3/15 on the table can be good if used with defender. Depends if you want to go more defensive (Jaraxxus) or more aggresive (Ragnaros).
Another plus is Jaraxxus has more synergy with voidcallers, but ragnaros helps me win against facehunters.
possibly a sea giant.
Mal'Ganis is a crucial part of this deck, but if you must - you should replace him with Ragnaros for the extra letal - or potentially Lord Jaraxxus if you're looking for the extra survivability.
Replaced a Doomguard with Illidan Stormrage, and it's working wonderfully. I tried a Bane of Doom in place of one of the Doomguards, but it was way to inconsistent. I got rid of one of the Doomguards simply because it would seems to clog up my hand if I had 2 (as the last 2 cards) in my hand, and would always end up burning one.
Double Doomguard has given me 3 mins so far. One I topdecked it for lethal, second time Power overwhelming and imp and Doomguard to save the day. Plus i just love when a 5/7 pops out of a void caller :)
.
I don't have all the cards so I added a Blood Imp and I think it works quite well with the deck.
The July 2014 Legends just called, they want their Zoo decks back
I watched his stream and the creator of the deck replaced a flame imp with a Bane of Doom. Opinions?
I would do the following changes to this deck, and that is one of them
-1 Flame Imp +1 Dr. Boom
-1 Abusive Sergeant +1 Bane of Doom
When your match up is good you trade , when his class counters you , try to race .
I use Dread Infernal because i dont have Mal Ganis, completely different effect but it works for me.
This is quite an interesting deck you have here. I recently made it to legend this season for the first time playing a similar zoo of my own creation and was wondering if perhaps you could offer some opinions. I made it to about rank 74 at my peak with it which I'd say is pretty good for a first time. I took a bit more of a midrange approach and opted for both mal and jaraxxus and Dr.Boom. I was wondering about your opinion on those changes and curious about the lack of Dr. Boom in the deck. He was a bit more difficult to play then in most decks due to filling the board but he functioned much in the same way he functions in shaman where you save him until being hit by AoE and then playing him in order to refill the board and take the big game hunter for mal'ganis. It seems like an odd omission especially considering that it means mal'ganis becomes the only BGH target.
sweet deck i only lost some cuz very bad rng by mi side.
