ty, first try. Had to replace some cards thou as I don't have much of the GvG cards. Had no unstable portals and annoy o trons.

Added 1xFrost Nova, 2xAnimated Armor (didnt draw em, so couldnt test it :( ) 2x Cabalist's Tome 2x Firelands Portal.

Had wyrm and apprentice first 2 turns out, thou no duplicate till turn 7 so he killed my board, he had 13 hp, me 19. Finished it with a Mirror Entity and got his +2/+2 if an opponent cast a spell which survived another flamestrike and used my fireland portal on a minion and got a 4/5

I played Chromaggus Heroic over 200 times. I spent over 18 hours on him. I tried literally everything I could find. I don't have Naxx cards and I can't afford to craft epics or legends to beat single-player content.

This fight had made me sick. Literally fealing queasy every time I fired up the game. :(

This deck took me only three tries after literally HUNDREDS of attempts with Ramp Druid, Alarm-O-Bot, Cheese Priest, etc. Thank you so much.

For anyone else in my situation (only own Standard cards), you CAN win. I promise!

1. Read the OP's advice closely, and follow it. I recommend Duplicating your Mana Wyrms.
2. For this reason, you will need to craft Duplicate, but it's a cheap common and worth the investment.
3. Anything other than Duplicate that you don't have, you can just sub Taunts and stalls. I subbed Twilight Geomancer for the Annoy-O-Tron, Frost Nova for the Zombie Chow, and generic damage spells for the Flamecannon and and Unstable Portal. 
4. Try to Mirror Entity on 7 or 8, when you will get one of his Legendary dragons (Onyxia/Alex/Ysera).
5. I also added Counterspells, which were invaluable for stopping his Flamestrikes. I highly recommend adding two and playing them on turn 5 or 6. My Wyrms would have died if I had not had this card.

Thank you again, nurgling13. I am so glad to be done with this fight. Blizzard should fire whoever was responsible for this travesty.

Hey, CapAp, I have a similar situation. I own only Standart cards and I have crafted Duplicate, but still I couldn't even contest Cromaggus. He just wrecks me everytime, even if I have a great start (Mana Wyrm, Sorcerer's Apprentice, Mirror Image etc)
Can you please add me and help me? I think, I'm doing something wrong.

For some reason clueless idiots keep saying turn 7 kill and shit like that....this is HEROIC CHROMAGGUS DECK. No way you can make a turn 6 or 7 kill when he has 60 life.

had to try a few times but I believed in this deck and.. it worked ! what I like is it's not using the Kel'Thuzad bug. So yeah, pop-out the apprentice, get rid of his afflictions, try duplicating it to get rid of them for even cheaper and when u get to turn 8 the game is more playable.

First try. Mana Wyrm MVP, along with a mirror image gave me a 4-9 twilight drake

i put 2 Goldshire Footman n Kel for the buged combo, and if he play chromatic you can kill him with footman n Zombie Chow on first 3 turns, after that the match is really easier, Kel + Flamewalker are the only u need to win.
