I am currently Rank 4 and have gotten legend several times, Battletag is Magnus#1582 if you have any personal questions.
This Deck is a very fun way to play Hunter if you are tired of the cliche Face hunter, and to make your opponent's confused at a higher rank for that element of surprise.
Mulligan for 1-2 drops and you should be fine against any deck.
Some cards that you might want more in depth on. Emperor used for making Feign Deaths cost less making your combo'es better and same goes for Baron Rivendare. Antique Healbot is used because using your bow to clear hurts you a lot, and Is very good in the Freeze mage matchup Always try to save it for after they drop Alextrasza.
Against harder match-ups like Tempo/Mech/Freeze Mage and Warrior, these matchups try to save your feign deaths for a sylvanas, feign death play, Or even better Sneed's, then drop double feign death if they don't clear or Emperor made them lower cost, to give that swing of power to you and hopefully snowball the win.
I will make a better deck guide if you all like this deck :)
Amusing how you give a lecture to this deck's creator who's been legend several times, when according to your mediocre Dragon Paladin decklist you've never been legend yourself (and the rest of the decklists you posted are not even yours)
I agree with some of your claims. Namely, there should definitely be at least one Explosive Trap in the deck. Without it, this deck will get flooded more often than not in all likelihood. Myself? I'd run 2 in place of Freezing Trap, since most people will attack with a low drop to check for Freezing Trap. Multi-Shot or Powershot could also be options. Not only are they nice in the early game, but they also can help set up favorable trades in the mid-to-late game (AND allow you to remove Mad Scientist for Leper Gnome)
That being said. There are some things you've said I don't agree with.
1) "No way to deal with big minions." This is generally a problem with most hunter decks. Outside of Kill Command, the only real way to deal with big minions RELIABLY is to play bigger minions, or weaken them with Explosive Trap to get a favorable trade. While both cards are missing from this deck, Sludge Belcher can whittle the opposing board down, especially with the Baron Rivendare/Feign Death combo (and even more so if they can't kill Rivendare before they kill the Belcher first after you Feign for 2 slimes).
Additionally, you ideally don't WANT to kill big minions if you can avoid it. The optimal play is to steal big minions with Sylvanas Windrunner (though this becomes harder if their board is full, admittedly).
2) "No win condition." There's actually a VERY real win condition in this deck. It's hard to pull off without some planning and/or a high value Emperor Thaurissan, but Sylvanas Windrunner + Baron Rivendare + Feign Death is a 2 minion swing minimum (3 if you kill off Sylvanas, 4 with double Feign, 5 if you double Feign and kill Sylvanas). The problem is, this requires 14 mana (18 for double Feign) AND for your opponent not to Silence Sylvanas between turns). Additionally. Dr. Boom + Baron Rivendare + Feign Death is a potential win condition as well.
3) "Feign Death optimizes your chance to draw Doomsayer from Piloted Shredder." Not really. It gives you an additional chance to draw Doomsayer. Sure. But the pool of 2 drop minions is huge, and Shredder doesn't play favorites on what it draws. With that being said, Doomsayer gives you automatic board control (or at least puts the field to even-ish if they have a Shredder) because it clears all minions and you will still have the minion from your Shredder. If they kill your Shredder so your board is wiped? Still a win. A Deathrattle deck gets more value from its minions dying than a normal deck does. So unless that Doomsayer comes up on your opponent's turn when you either a) have a highly favorable board state and no sticky minions, or b) have Sylvanas Windrunner on the field, Doomsayer is actually a card you WANT to pop up (especially with lack of removal otherwis, the likelihood that you're gonna get flooded, and the fact that your deck out values theirs when minions die).
Removed Emperor and Loatheb, to add 2 Faceless, its just so much fun to get double Sneeds + Feing Death or Double Sylvanas + Feing Death!! and you can also uset on Belchers or what ever you feel like it. Also removed 1 Creeper for a Explosive Trap, for de aggro matches. Also Added Kel'Thuzad
PS: The dream is: turn 8 Sneeds, turn 9 Faceless + double Feing Death!!!!
Hey! Here's some gameplay for this deck beat a face-hunter and a control warrior :p ! Felt sort of bad for the warrior BUT NEVER THE FACE HUNTERS!!! Use hunter to kill :SMOrc: ME FACE :SMOrc: haha! Everyday is a good day when you beat face-hunter ;] ! Great deck btw love using Sneed's Old Shredder :3
hard deck to play in the early levels where there's more aggro =/
Is it fine to play this deck with only 1 feign death?
is it fine to play oil rogue without oil? Is it fine to play combo druid without combo? is it fine to play miracle rogue without leeeeeeeeeeeroy?
miracle plays only one leeroy as well, so it means u can play with one feign death? :D
I logged in just to make a comment on this deck. This is probably one of the most fun decks I've ever played. You don't always get that baron/feign/sneeds combo but when you do and your entire side of the board becomes legendaries it's incredibly satisfying! With that said this deck doesn't need that combo to win. I've won quite a few games without even playing feign death or baron riverdare.
If you have the cards for this deck I recommend giving it a try it really is that much fun!
I really like this deck; really fun.
I had to put 2 Undertaker in. And I think 1 more trap seems necessary.
It is easy to get both Freezing out.
I feel like I want another 1 drop as well. Not sure what - Clockwork Gnome?
edit- I actually want to get freezing so often that maybe I won't add an explo.
Probably dropping Sneed's for a gnome.
thnx for the deck really like it, gettin a bit tired of the face huntard.
Though isnt this deck to much based on getting the feign deat baron rivendare combo?
Anyway now trying your deck really love it !
Glad :) , and i see how you can see that, but basically you play like a midrange hunter and then use the baron/feign combo if you are lucky, or just another way to finish of the game quicker (maybe baron with boom bots, or feign with bots rather than having both), just play the cards out which would give you best tempo or would allow you to win within a few turns. Hope it helps.
Currently rank 4 with 2 stars still climbing, but slowed because been playing a lot of arena this season. Good luck with your variant :)
Replacement for Sneeds? Also, have you consired Savannah Highmane? He's pretty strong in Deathrattle Hunter decks.
Definitely sneed's can be slow, and when there is more aggro the Savannah is better
this deck looks pretty cool definitely going to try it
