This is a gimmick deck I've been working on for a while but only really started to work out with the introduction of a few BRM cards. This deck is all about doing damage to your own minions for benefit, usually resulting in heavy burst damage from creatures with enrage or similar effects. It's stocked full of combos and cards that will do damage to your minions and the rest of the board, it's got some decent draw in the form of battle rage, commanding shout and acolytes of pain as well as the standard warrior finisher of Grommash + Taskmaster. While some control is possible, going face is often the best way to get anything out of this because your minions are generally not going to trade 2 for 1, unless they're Grommash or the Gurabashi due to their low base health, though Rampage and Commanding Shouts can give you some decent trades in some situations. Lastly, the Grim Patron is in there with plenty of ways to trigger him. For big laughs, I recommend Grim Patron + Commanding Shout + Bouncing Blade, to fill your board with angry dwarves.
Consider taking the Warbots out for Mad Bombers and the Axe Flingers for Madder Bombers. It would fit with the gimmick and adds another element of randomness for fun.
Played the deck but eventually replaced Warbot for Unstable Ghoul against aggro
I kept getting wrecked by strong and Taunt minions with lots of health ...... This deck can't seem to do anything about it at all.
No execute or brawl .... :(
Aggro deck is also put this deck in a very bad situation ... It seems u really need the right combo of cards to be able to stand up against tank and aggro deck :(
Play around with the deck mate! I was stuck in the same situation with lots of deck I was trying to play then I realised that I've got to adapt the decks I use to the current meta and also to my style of play! Putting in an Unstable Ghoul or two would help against aggro and put in a couple of Executes to get rid of those big taunts! Often get overwhelmed by minions? Put in a Brawl as well!! The Emperor works really well in this deck because he can make the combos more viable due to reducing the cost of every card! I would also put in Armorsmiths just to make you last a little bit longer and hit them suddenly with a wicked combo!! Take out the cards that you find are the lesst helpful! I was stuck at Rank 13 and below until I started playing with my decks by myself and it raised me to Rank 8...still not great but playing is more enjoyable now and I'm still learning!! Hope this helps you somehow!!
Replacement for Grommash?
This is so fun. Loved it!
Sorry this deck is way to dependent on the PERFECT card distribution.. which i NEVER get...
same here bro :( it's still pretty fun thou
I posted a combo deck like this before BRM release. This build is crying out for Wild Pyromancer, it is the ebst at self harming your team and works insanely well with commanding shout, allowing you to pyro as many times as you want in a turn (which is why i added inner rage...)
I found the deck a bit too gimmicky when i tested it then... but axe flinger and grim patron have given it a chance.
I think raging worgen can come out no prob. I find he always gets removed before he bursts, and warsong commanders can fill the 3 slot for way more synergy with the deck.
Unstable ghoul also should be a must add as the deck has very little early game stability and actually does better in to the late game where you can go combo crazy. the number of times i finished off with a charging 30+ dmg gurubashi was somewhat surprising...
Entertaining deck! Looking to give it a go. Thanks for sharing!
So its the Grim Patron Meta deck but with shitter cards to make it more gimmicky.
It broke my heart you used Warbot instead of Unstable Ghouls... Sooooo much better :(
This deck could do well with a pair of Unstable Ghouls, as they both synergies and combo with the rest of your cards theme, as well as provide some defense measures against aggressive decks, especially one such as face hunter which can easily ignore your board otherwise and just kill you.
Edit: I suggest them over Rampage, as it is a horrendously slow card and reqruires too much setup at most times.
