Hi you guys!

NOTE: This deck will be transformed into standard deck at the release of WotOD. Until then I will periodically replace Wild Cards.

This concept has appeared after GvG. It needed some work, but I believe it is now time to reach its peak with BRM. The emperor couldn't be missed from this deck while the remarkable Lava Shock enchances its potentials. I'm talking of course of the notorious Malygos Shaman concept.

In every deck that I upload I will explain the use for every card and strategies behind the deck. In the future maybe I'll upload videos using these decks.

Now, I found a single decklist that can lead you high to the ladder. It is also a good choice for laddering. The whole point here is to control the board with damaging spells, heal yourself and prepare your hand for the OTK with the Dragon-God. Now let's head to the deck itself, shall we?

CONSTRUCTION:
B O S S:
Malygos: This is my favorite legendary. It is not underestimated, but due to the fact that you can't do many things when you play him, he becomes pretty solid on decks that he can be summoned and do the trick on the same turn. He is the key to your win. Don't lose him.

THE SUPPORTERS:
Emperor Thaurissan: The best BRM has to offer imo. Reducing the cost of your spells is always a good thing. It enchances also the OTK.
Hallazeal the Ascended: Now Im definitely gonna run this card in. Massive Health restoration while clearing your opponent's board. AND PERFECT 5 mana stats. This smells OP.
Bloodmage Thalnos: A good card that offers many good choices with the spell damage. Also necessary for drawing. WARNING: Dont' use him on empty board for nothing. REMEMBER: you need him for the spell damage mostly.
Cult Apothecary: Health restoration is really necessary with this deck. Against aggro decks it is more than useful to have a 4/4 as a body. Plus swarm decks will actually make you benefit from it. And then you can cast an Elemental Destruction.
Azure Drake (x2): One of the best 5-drops in the game. It is also the most suitable for this deck. It enhances your card draw as well.

THE SHOCKING ELEMENTS:
Earth Shock (x2): Propably the best Silence on the game. With spell damage it can get out of hand.
Frost Shock (x2): Maybe not the best Shaman card, but definitely a good one for this deck. You can use it either with Malygos, or to freeze and slow down your opponent.
Lava Shock (x2): Now, this card is the addition we need to make this deck perfect. Not only it is an extra damage spell, but now the problem that Maygos Shaman had is solved. When I first played this deck during GvG release, I found myself in sticky situations, where I needed to win but I couldn't because of Overload. NOT ANYMORE!
Lightning Bolt (x2): One of my favorite removals. Really like. Many creatures have 3 or 4 Health on this meta. Use it well. Try to pull it out also with Thalnos or an Azure Drake. Great tempo-killer.
Crackle (x2): I mostly keep it for face. But it may happen that you have to spend it against something big. Who cares, it's efficient.
Lightning Storm (x2): One of the best AoE spells. Effiecient and it can save you the whole game. A good card.
Elemental Destruction (x2): Certainly the best AoE. I love it. Ignore the 5 Overload. You have Lava Shock! And you can clear heavy boards with this.

THE SUPPORTING SPELLS:
Ancestral Knowledge (x2):
Excellent card draw. Don't use it recklessly. Keep it for later uses. Still a really good draw.
Hex (x2): Excellent removal. It will help you against big targets, or annooying targets. Voidcaller is one of them.
Far Sight: Far Sight is good, because it helps you keep drawing. You may draw the card you need this turn and play it at low cost or free, or draw something for later use. The best thing I can imagine is Ancestor's Call.
Healing Wave (x2): Great card here. You have 3 2-drops, 3 5-drops Emperor and Malygos. The odds are that you get to heal for 14 many times. Only Handlock is a problem here.
Ancestor's Call: The other part of the combo. This is where you win! With Malygos!

WEAPONS:
Charged Hammer: Now this is THE CARD. Best control card for Shaman. It produces infinite value and does not produce negative value when Harrison Joned. This weapon is THE thing.

STRATEGIES:

Concept: Now you have to defend yourself and draw like hell in order to get your cards right. What you need is, 1 Ancestor's Call for Malygod and 4-5 spells. I prefer Frost shocks Lightning Bolts and maybe a Crackle.

Mulligan:
Mech Mage: This wouldn't be hard. Try to have some removals. Lightning Bolt is fine and Crackle would do. If you aquire Bloodmage Thalnos then keep him. If you draw early a Lightning Storm he might as well concede.
Face Hunter: Earth Shock is good. If you have a healing card keep it. One thing that you need to remember here is not to attack his face. You don't need that damage. If he has an Explosive trap let him stay with it. Don't attack face. You don't need to get that extra damage. Malygos will help you quite a bit. Don't forget this piece of advice. It saved me countless times.
Druid: Keep a Frost Shock that you might need for a big ramped minion. Crackle is also great here.
Oil Rogue:  Crackle, Lightning Bolt, Lava Shock, Thalnos. The rest goes away.
Mill Rogue: This is hard. Try not to overdraw. Don't be afraid to waste a Lightning Storm. It wouldn't get any value anyway against Mill Rogue.
Priest: Lighting Bolt is good. You may need also an Azure Drake. Far Sight is safe here.
Mid Paladin: Lightning Storm, Lightning Bolt, Earth Shock, Thalnos.
Handlock: Hex, Earthshock (!!!!), Crackle. This is what you need. Get the Twilight Drake out easily, then Hex a giant. The rest goes on pretty much easy.
Demolock: Mal'Ganis is a threat. Keep, Earthshock and Hex. Don't be afraid to use them on Nerubian eggs and Voidcallers. Then you'll be alright with no further problems. When using Ancestor's Call for Malygos, try to keep in mind that you would need an extra spell of 7 damage in case Mal'Ganis comes out for him. Lava Shock and Lightning Bolt are good or even Earth Shock. Elemental Destruction is also good here.
Control Warrior: Now this is the hardest match up. Armor works against you. I don't have anything in particular here. This is a hard match up indeed.

1-4 turns. Play a Loot Hoarder. Use removals only if necessary. Try to target important minions. Try to silence a potential threat.
5-10 turns. Here you may need to cast a Lightning Storm. Don't be afraid. Use Healbot if you have to. Draw as many cards as you can. An emperor may prove useful here.
10+ turns. Here only control decks will be a problem. Try to save a Hex if possible for potential threats. Then you can Ancestor's Call Malygos and destroy your opponent.

Simple isn't it? Generally you have to count your cards, remember every play and you'll have no problem. You have answers to everything though and this makes this deck competitive. It is quite difficult in the beginning, but once you master it, it is greatly rewarding.

FINALLY: Remember that you can achieve lethal only by spells without Malygod if your opponent's Health isn't high. Calculate this every turn.

EXTRA NOTE 1: I removed the Hoarders and placed another Healbot and an Ancestral Knowledge. Your card draw is insane so you need more Heal. Plus the Loot Hoarders where a reason for losing the Healing Wave Joust.

Try it on ladder, especially on high ranks as well on tournaments. You'll find your opponents by surprise and it has a lot of potential. Have fun trying it.

If I see that you like this deck, I'll upload some secrets and more detailed guides.

Remember when you summond Malygos to chant:

Storm, Earth and Fire (and frost).... Heed my call!!!!

See ya next time.
