I hit legend with the exact same deck two days ago, after an insane winstreak that took me from rank 4 with 5 stars to legend in a matter of 3-4 hours. Sea Giant is extremely good in this deck, as it gives you extra steam VS the control classes after they've wasted their removal on the lowbies, as well as allowing you to race hunters if you're on a clock. Argent Squire also seems to give me tremendous value against hunter, but also against control if they choose to ignore it as it effectively becomes an Annoy-o-Tron when comboed with Defender of Argus, which may really win you the game if they've got no ways to deal with it.
Most likely not it just depends on what other decks people are playing try making changes to the current meta
Double Sea Giant is bad. Ridiculous or stupid even so. It's the worst case possible if you mulligan away one Sea Giant and get another in. Sea Giant is a card that has been largely misunderstood. In a perfect world, at least one of the copies should be replaced by Loatheb.
I guess if the world champion and winner of back to back gfinity spring likes it with 2 sea giants. It is by definition not ridiculous or stupid
Just saying :P
Considering I'm currently at a 70% winrate (at rank 5+, not rank 20) with double sea giant I think it's decent. The odds of you having Sea Giant in your opening hand are extremely low as its 1/15 of your deck. One of the reasons zoo struggles is because it lacks big threats. You'll often be playing it for 3-5 mana with a decent board, and the odds of you having a decent board as zoo are VERY high. Are you telling me dropping an 8/8 for an average 4 mana is bad? You might say "it can get BGH'd" but you're not going to search for BGH against zoo. Even if it gets BGH'd you're going to have a large board remaining while they have less resources to deal with it and you might another Sea Giant later that can't get hit by BGH.
