My beautifully crafted new age token druid featuring cards like dragon egg and soul of the forest that got me from rank 5 to 3 with no losses!
A short guide:
you'll be playing a lot of sticky minions and minions that benefit from buffs (dragon egg, nerubian etc.) to get insane value from cards like savage roar, power of the wild...and yes, soul of the forest. during the early game you set up lots of sticky minions and perhaps taunt up an egg or two then during the mid game you should be using the power of the wilds and soul of the forests to make your board even more insane, and then hopefully kill them with savage roars, Fon and swipe. if you've survived until the late game you may be in a bit of trouble but try to topdeck lethal.
Mulligan:
Wrath, ooze, creeper, shade (with coin), dragon/nerubian egg (with mark of the wild) mark of the wild (with dragon/nerubian egg)
Gameplay:
Massive thanks to Khristophesaurus Dinosaurus for doing an awesome video on this deck! you can find his YT channel here: https://www.youtube.com/user/Khristophesaurus

would emperor be a good sub for sea giant, you think? it sets up combos easier, though it's a little slow.
i think its way too slow, try a cult master or lumberer
put two knife jugglers in here and can win turn 4
What about dark wispers over one nerubian egg? It would add two new threats: Echoing ooze+ wispers and wispers+ SOTF = next turn: 5+5x2 (FON) = 15 damage.
I was always fond of soul of the forest, it was usually too inconsistent for me though, but I want to try this deck out.
I have all of these cards except Dr. Balanced, so what should I use in his place? Cenarius? Volcanic lumberer? Ancient of Lore for card draw?
you really should craft him ASAP but for the moment either another sea giant or maybe even a violet teacher or something
i was actually wondering why there wasnt a teacher; it fits perfectly, like stupid perfect.
Wouldn't Violet Teacher be good in this deck? It has a decent amount of spells and all the tokens would be amazing with a well-timed Soul of the Forest or Savage Roar.
I second this, it seems odd to have buff spells without her. I'm thinking about replacing one of the shades with her.
Im still experimenting with lots of cards like this and cult master so feel free to try it out for yourself!
I cut the Shades for Cult Master and Violet Teacher and the Giant (i don't have it) for SotF. I like the Idea of this Cards in this Deck, but i have the feeling that they don't suite me well. I play this Deck a bit like Zoo - Boardcontrol, Trade and go for face if possible. This Cards are not long on the board because the take every hate from your opponent. I drew not more that 2 Cards with the Cult Master (FON + Master 10 Mana and thats way to late for that Deck - because i try to finish the Game on Turn 9/10) So maybe Acolyte of Pain is better. It combos well with some of the spells will life after a Explosiv Trap.
Violet Teacher feels the same - its very Mana intensiv so if you start to play Innervate it would fit much better but it dose his Job okay i think. I play one at the moment. Sometimes you don't want to wait with your spells till its save but it combos well with the most spells.
I don't have the Sea Giant so i replaced it with Sylvanas - that worked pretty good but i think that Dark Wispers a better replacement. I dont have it ( i'm not a Druid-player) so i cant try it but it feels like a good Combopart and a good finishing card as the Giant get Big-Game-Hunted before doing anything you have with Dark Wispers a good finisher.
This feels like a deathrattle deck I was tinkering around with. MOtW is too crucial to the deck for this too work, you absolutely need it in your opening hand.
it works just fine for me without it. because of all the other buff options, you really just get a lot of chip damage from the small things your opponent doesnt care to remove (the eggs), and it's really pretty overwhelming in large quantities.
I am currently experimenting with cult master so feel free to try that out.
To slow. Tested it and got 0 wins out of 5 games
Do you play this as more of an aggro deck or a midrange deck? The reason I ask is because of Cult Master. As it stands this deck doesn't have any sort of draw engine to speak of, and if you plan on doing some trading, then CM would be a great addition!
Also, do you plan to add any cards from the final wing of BRM? Volcanic Drake in particular seems like it would be an excellent pick! If so, what would you cut to make room?
P.S. Ballsy move playing this deck with no Innervates.
We'll have to see about volcanic drakes and stuff, but i would definitely consider 1 cult master since its sort of a really aggressive midrange deck.
too slow, and honestly its not a great card any way :P
Dragon egg isn't that great as people will often kill it before you can get soul of the forest on it. Same goes for echoing ooze as you often don't have luxury of 6 mana. It also only has druid of the claw as a reliable defense against punishing aggro decks (face hunter/mech mage) which can easily get swatted away with a fireball.
If you want to build a deck around soul of the forest, you should have a go with this deck: http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/228626-druid-zoo-get-in-there-maggot.
