Sadly, the video doesn't even have the same deck composition as the one on the side...
Whats a good Alexstrasza alternative? Healbot, Nefarian, Gurdian of Kings? Don't have Lay on Hands.
28 cards??
May I switch Ysera for Nefarian?
I'll be replacing Ysera , The Black Knight and Tirion Fordring for now.
The big drawback of this deck in ranked is the lack of draw. You put Thaurissan in there, but by mid-game, if you played on curve, you don't have that many cards that benefits from it.
The general value of Dragon Consort is very high, but unless you draw into your few dragons, I don't think this deck is going places. The Muster/QM combo is great, but because of the inclusion, I think you're trying to add to bring in too many comboes which just reduces the quality of this deck.
So what I did:
-1 Quartermaster
-1Muster for Battle
-1 Knife Juggler
+2 Acolyte of Pain
+1 Hungry Dragon
Here is my reasoning:
The QM/MFB combo is strong, but we're trying to do a strong dragon deck here, and people play around this combo too much anyways. Furthermore, because of our lack of draw, the probabilities of getting those 2 cards in hands are low. So I removed the QM, and kept one muster, reason being that if played on curve, Muster is strong, makes your opponent paranoid, and it great at counter aggro, it works well with one knife jungle. Furthermore, we have so many good low-cost high value cards to deal with aggro that aggro isn't a problem anymore. 2Muster and 2 knife is just too much and makes us lose in the mid-range/late game.
I added 2 Acolyte, they are decent at trading early game against aggro (2/1s and such, and works well in tandom with Knife Jungler/shieldbot/single Muster). A lot of the time, we can bring a minion to 1 health, finish ti with acolyte, getting draw and board control. They provide the card draw required to reach the mid-game with enough cards in hands to plan ahead (Dragon Consort comboes) and Thaurissan value (No more using Thaurissan while having only 3 cards in hands).
I also added Hungry Dragon because he's fucking op when played on curve. If you keep board control, turn 3 Acolyte, Turn 4 Hungry, you get value out of your acolyte AND you get a 4/6. On top of that, it can result in complete tempo swings with Dragon Consort on turn 7 (5 mana 5/5, 2 mana 4/6).
I am hesitating between dropping one Senjin for another Hungry Dragon. Both cards are strong in the current meta, Senjin stops the aggro hard(Or forces a silence most of the time out of aggro), Hungry Dragon puts a threat on the board that is hard to remove. So far I am keeping it this way.
Also Blackwing Technician is bad. A 3 mana 3/5 is good, but unless you have board control, and you drop it on curve, it because kinda meh.
Finally, Acolyte of Pain vs Azure Drake is something I've been hesitating. The reason why I didn't add it is the problem with Dragon Consort. Dragon Consort is a really good card if the next dragon played is high value (Hungry Dragon, legendary dragons). You end up in plays where Azure Drake would be a really good drop on this turn, but Dragon Consort buff is up and being wasted, unless it draws into something playable, it's not good.
EDIT: Oh and for those wondering, I did 50 games with it over 2 days and got ~70% win rate, went from Rank 7 to Rank 2 and still climbing.
nice design +1 no guide-5
I made a deck very similar to this as I am laddering it up to get legend before season ends. Let me know what you think. Thanks

cause that's not true at all. Equality is a control card (most obviously with consecrate as a combo). Control means you keep board control, and even if you have a big body on board, if you can't deal with the opponent's field, what's the point? Equality at the most basic level lets you trade your 1/1 for a giant.
And if anything, you don't play equality in aggro at all, since aggro focuses on face dmg. Equality doesn't do anything to extend your position in aggro. If the point is to get past taunts, silence effects are better since.
Haha yea. Came here to see the update and was pretty disappointed. So much anti aggro tech in this deck. Guess we blame it on the facehunters again.
Running with -1 Cog, -1 Chow, -1 Rend, -2 Azure Drake and +1 Cromaggus, +2 Hungry Dragon, +2 Belchers. Still deciding if Belchers worked better than Azure, but I'm climbing quite well at ranks 7~8.
Um people, you need to realise Kibler is still experimenting with what is currently out lol. Not even all the dragons are out yet, of course its not going to be super good.
There are two popular Dragon Paladin deck in HearthPwN now. There are similar and both are really strong in late game. But after I tried. This one gives more board control in early game. THX for sharing this deck. GJ!!
Only 5 dragons and 3 dragon-synergy cards? rly? seems pretty bad
I'm just losing to every and each aggro/tempo/face deck i meet
Cannot agree more, this deck is incredibly bad, and i lose to every reasonable deck I face with.
Amazing how bad decks get upvoted just because they have a popular name attached. This list is simply making no sense at all. It's trying to run dragons with no particular reason, simply because Consort got released. Even with Chromaggus, this list is bad.
