This is an easy deck to beat Drakkisath with, relying on the poor AI of the boss. When you have Kel'Thuzad and a Taunt minion out, Drakkisath will NOT attack the taunt minion for any reason. Drakkisath will still use Kidnappers and Flamestrikes on Taunt minions, so be sure to get more than 1 Taunt minion out quickly! Keeping Kel alive is the priority, as well as defeating Drakkisath before he uses Twisting Nether.
However, Drakkisath has a few ways to kill Kel'Thuzad, so the goal of this deck is to get Kel'Thuzad out and keep Kel stealthed to protect him. Use your other minions to hit face and win while Drakkisath does nothing.
Beware, this deck is very dependent on Drakkisath's first turn. Ideally you will play Kel on the first turn, but if Drakkisath immediately destroys him, it's game over. Simply restart and try again. Once you get Kel stealthed with Master of Disguise, Drakkisath cannot use his "destroy a minion - gain 10 armor" spell on Kel. You have to still be wary of double Flamestrike and Twisting Nether.
To limit the risk of Flamestrike, swapping in a couple Earthen Ring Farseers might be a good idea to heal Kel after a single Flamestrike. There is no way to avoid Twisting Nether with this deck. You just have to get lucky and hope Drakkisath doesn't draw it. One thing I've noticed and a couple other people have mentioned - if Drakkisath has a board full of his own minions, he won't use Twisting Nether (or use it much less often).
Be careful when using Conceal. Use if BEFORE attacking with your Taunt minions so they lose Stealth on Drakkisath's turn.
Also, you can replace many of the cards in this deck. Sylvanas gives an insane amount of value, but once you get a stealthed Kel + Taunt, you don't *need* anything else to win. So use your good legends if you have them, but Kel and the stealth cards are the only essentials in this deck. Alexstrasza is very useful if you have her.

Changelog:
Swapped Loatheb for a Core Hound after being notified that Loatheb's Battlecry has no effect. Drakkisath's hero power overrides it. All cards cost 1, and not a thing can change that.
Deck no longer works.

It still works but only if you draw Kel'Thuzad and a Sludge Belcher. Super RNG Deck.
Pure luck based boss, but this list helped me get the card back. Thanks
Just wanted to give an update. As of Un'Goro Launch if you get Sludge Belcher out with Kel'Thuzad he will not attack your taunt minions. Took him down the first time I got that combo out.
Some great additions to the deck also include Ultrasaur, Volcanosaur, Giant Mastodon, The Curator, Arch-Thief Rafaam, Bog Creeper, and Soggoth the Slitherer.
Dang, wish I had Y'Shaarj, that could do it! Not having much luck with this deck right now.
This deck is doesn't work because it's really outdated & he will attack your taunt minions :(
You might want to use a lot of Taunt+Deathrattle minions, in order to get them resurrected by N'Zoth, so you have full board of heavy taunts (had 4 belchers on my board), which Drakkisath will not be able to clear instantly, so you can safely place your Kel'Thuzad. Also consider putting Gang Up spell in the deck, so you will be able to have 2 Kels on the board, this way if the one dies - another one resurrects him.
took 15 minutes... but it worked
Ok. I got him on the fifth try by sheer luck. Started off with a sludge belcher, and mulliganned the other two cards. Lucked out and got KT and Master of disguise. Drakks first turn hit taunt and played Force Tank, so I had the 1,2 versionof Sludge Belcher. Played KT turn 2. Drakk played Majordomo and Boulderfist. This is where I got lucky. Turn three, played betrayal. This converted Drakk to Ragnoros. Hit face with my 1,2 taunt and KT, 1 health. Ragnoros hits face on turn four with his power. I hit face with KT on turn four. Sheer luck. Key to this one is going to be patience and luck. Thank god I don't have to play him again.
This guy was such a pain in the butt. Finally got him with this deck on about the 30th attempt (poor RNG draws). Thanks.
After more than 20 loses I trashed this deck and went with another one, which got the job done on the 3rd try. I suggest you do the same.
Cannot understand the upvotes for this deck, it relies on an UNGODLY amount of luck.
Agreed. Try this one.
don't try this. Is not working.
Instead of minions to heal Kel'Thuzad, I simply relied on Rafaam's Lantern of Power. After all, you want big minions on the board. Rafaam definitely helps and the Lantern of power made Kel'Thuzad immortal to flamestrike.
Lost the count of tries i made to get it to work, but finally worked. it seems its Kel'Thuzad or nothing against this boss.
lucky you :D
Well, that wasn't easy at all... because what is actually needed —in that particular order— is:
Turn 1: Taunt
Turn 2: KT (if Taunt hasn't been killed by his Removal already)
Turn 3: Master of Disguise (if KT hasn't been killed by his Removal already)
Turn 4: Second Taunt (in case he kills your Taunt with his Removal and KT with his minions), or Farseer (heal) if he used Flamestrike
Turn 5: Same as turn 4, but the other one.
If he hasn't Flamestriked or Removed any of your minions by turn 5 then you're good. Your setup is fine.
But that's a hell of a long shot... I managed to get the perfect combo and luck by my 13th try. And I think I got lucky...
After a few retries of getting a taunt up + Kel + Stealthing him I got it easily :)
