If you don't have Mad Scientist or Explosive Trap on turn 2, concede. Explosive Trap is better if the hero power shifts from the 3 welps to the 2 2/2's with taunt. Mad Scientist is better if it shifts to the 5/4(in which case hit the scientist into the 5/4, the trap will do the rest)
Beyond that, you just face face face. Hunter's Mark is in just in case you need to send one doggy from Unleash the Hounds into the 8/8 hero power to buy yourself another turn. Doomsayer was initially just there to fill a spot, but it saved my ass big time in conjunction with Annoy-o-Tron.
edit: If you don't have a Doomsayer, people in the comments have seen similar results using Explosive Sheep. Had I remembered the card existed, I probably would have put it in before trying Doomsayer.

Edit: Changed some cards out that got nerfed with the release of standard. -2 Leper Gnome -2 Arcane Golem +2 Argent Horserider +2 Disciple of C'Thun. Same strategy. Tested it 3 games, 3 wins.
Nailed it with this one on the first try. I definitely got lucky though. Top decked the doggies right after he dropped Onyxia. Took him out with just 1 HP on my side left.
Now back to that jerk Drakkisath...
Great deck. 3 tries and I got it. I did end up swapping out a hunter's mark for MC tech, which ended up being better I think.
I agree that no mad scientist/explosive trap start you mind as well start over.
Edit: I'll add that I failed about 10+ times with different variations of a priest inner fire deck, including one frustrating time when I got him down to 1 life.
Steamrolled it, first try with a lucky back-to-back Quickshot draw with an empty hand.

took 6 or 7 tries but worked like a charm. I also changed out doom for sheep (but on winning hand did not draw that or MC tech which I swapped for arcane) as well. I think Arcane might be better though after doing it a bunch of times as the burst is needed.
On the winning hand I decided not to concede even though I did not have a mad scientist or leper. drew mad on turn 2 and played him and then at the end the annoytrons saved my ass. Went face almost exclusively for the turn 4+
Original deck took me 10+ tries with no luck. Added 2x MC Tech and stole a 8/6 minion and beat this xtard. Thanks for your comment! :D

Every time I try this, he runs right into Explosive Trap... and then drops two Volcanic Drakes turn 3.
Wow! First try.. Amazing deck. Swapped out Doomsayer for Explosive Sheep and swapped the 2 Arcane Golem for Mind Control Tech and Leeroy Jenkins. MCed his buffed 12/9. :)

Same. Good deck and good advice on mulligans.
Took quite a few tries for me (n > 10). Not only do you need Explosive Trap, and preferably a Leper Gnome for turn one, but he needs to get the hero power which spawns two 2/2 taunts. Then you can mount enough pressure and damage to snowball; otherwise you take too much damage to last until you can kill him.

Took me 10+ tries, but I finally did it.
What worked for me though was substituting one Abusive Sergeant with King Krush. Also, luck - because he didn't drop taunts on his last turn.

Great deck. Took me like 8+ tries but I ended up getting the exact draw that I needed. I had explosive trap turn 2 and I got 2 huffers in a row followed by an arcane golem.
not working for me..he just got 3 of the 8/8's back to back...hero power did not cycle to anything else for some reason.
also, every time I've run mad scientist into the 5/4 ...he just buffs it with a +3/+3 to a damaged minion..and wrecks my face, defeating the purpose of that combo. That's 9 games in a row that he's done that now.
more awesomeness...right when you think you have him..he uses 2x super whirlwinds which wipes your entire board, then drops onyxia, then buffs up his 1 remaining minion from the super whirlwind with 2x +3/+3's and gg for him again.....yea this aint working well.
and more....wipe his board with explosive trap on turn 2 and he drops 2x 6/4 drakes for free.....gg for him again.

No. People have suggested explosive sheep instead. I probably would have used it if I even remember it existed when I made the deck.

awesome deck! was struggling with some mage variations and then got it on the second try with this one. strong offense totally works!
