The aim with this deck is to utilise the many shaman damage spells such as lava burst, crackle and lightning bolt. You can also use the doomhammer-rockbiter combo as a 6 mana pyroblast. 

Use emperor Thaurissan to reduce the cost of these cards if the opponent has a lot of health and many cards are required.

My favourite strategy is to use taunts and the totems as well as other stalling cards to stall your opponent until you get Alexstraza. then you only need 15 damage of spells in your hand to kill them the next turn, or you can do it that turn depending on how many turns you have used the Emperor.
