Hello dear Hearthstone players! I'm back, after a long time, with an adventure guide, and hope to make your life easier on defeating the heroic version of Majodormo Executus today. Let's head right into it!

What does this boss do:

Majadormo starts out on 30 HP and 15 points of armor. His hero power spawns a 3/3 Flamewaker Acolyte for 2 mana. Luckily for you, that turns out to be the best play rather often in the first few turns, consequently making Divine Favor just that much stronger of a card.

Once you dropped Majadormo to 0 HP He will turn into Ragnaros the Firelord, with a refined hero power that damages two of your characters for 8 damage, again for only 2 mana. There are two ways of dealing with this well:

- Set up the board in a way that you can instantly kill Ragnaros, namely through buffed Shade of Naxxramas

- Play a ton of small, insignificant minions, or even better, minions with Divine Shield, which is what we're trying to do! If you get your board nicely filled, Ragnaros' hero power will actually start feeling pretty endurable.

What do I mulligan for?

Low cost minions, anything that makes you curve out well essentially. Truesilver Champion is an excellent tool to beat two of his Flamewaker Acolytes and truly helps you achieve that board state that you want. Everything else is pretty self-explanatory, is it small and playable on curve? You want it. Argent SquireShielded Minibot and Muster for Battle being the most notable ones.

Phase one: Majodormo Executus

Now, as previously mentioned he will spend a lot of his early turns spawing Flamewaker Acolytes. These are relatively hard to deal with as most of your early minions have 1 or 2 attack. Thus, if you're able to floord the board I recommend going face and letting him trade into your shields until you can minimize his board presence with Truesilver Champions and Consecration.

Notable exceptions to this rule are the high attack, low health minions that he plays, Magma Rager and Core Hound come to mind, as well as Flamewakers, as their effect is just naughty.

Try your best not to leave Majodormo below 10 health, if you do not have equality handy, as he plays an atrocious amount of Molten Giants. Those are part of the reason why his hand is so filled up at times, and can, if they go uncountered, can turn around your entire game instantaneously, no matter how well you did. The easiest way to do this is to just act as if he was a Handlock that happens to carry double your usual amount of Molten Giants.

Phase two: Ragnaros the Firelord!

If you enter this fight, two things should ideally be true for you:

- You have sufficient hp to take a potential hit.

- You have a filled board or are able to fill the board soon.

Because even though Rag has 60 HP and a sick hero power, this next part is extremely straight forward. You pretty much buff minions, play out your hand and try to put as much damage into him as you can afford to. Trade as much as you deem appropriate, and keep in mind that he plays Fireballs, and then just do not die. His hero power is mediocre at best, often going into 1-2 health minions or just pinging off shields. In terms of win conditions, you have your small minions constantly pushing for damage, Tirion Fordring just oozing with value, (Ragnaros won't hestitate to send a Core Hound in to do nothing but pinging of Tirions divine shield), and possible sick combinations of AvengeBlessing of Kings and Blessed Champion.

Same as before, one thing to beware is that 10 health is the line that, if you cross it, let's him play insane amounts of Molten Giants instantly. Just do not risk it, he WILL have some, and you really do not want to lose your game at that point to a mistake so simply avoided. That is, unless you have EqualityAldor Peacekeeper or a sure way of dealing lethal next turn to make those giants irrelevant!

That is pretty much all there is to it! It really isn't that different from playing a slightly overpowered ai Handlock. I hope this guide can help some people, if you have any questions contact me on eu, Vijce#2689.

Best of luck, and have fun with Blackrock Mountain!
