This deck utilizes the beast synergy with Haunted Creeper, Druid of the Flame, Druid of the Claw, and Druid of the Fang. I am currently substituting Flame for Jungle Panther, but this change is one that I expect to make when Flame is released this week. This deck is very good vs aggro, with much better early game minions in Creeper and Flame. It also has great value mid game with Fang value. Draw out BGH early if they have it, and punish them with a Ragnaros. Play is very similar to that of Midrange Combo Druid. Creeper is great not only for the Fang activator but for savage roar value. Mulligan hard for innervate and wild growth, and be sure to keep early game minions vs aggro decks. Currently have an 80% winrate on ladder. dude this deck don't have taunt or area damge or even healing how the hell i can win if i don't have all of the core importans things
Back when I hit legend with this deck, the meta was much slower, and this was a tempo deck. You could swarm the board early and run over much of the meta. There was no need to taunt or heal, it can outrun face hunter. Indeed, it got run over by patron warrior soon after it hit ladder, and has no effective way to deal with patrons. (Mind control tech, azure drake w/ starfall are two ways this possibly could be improved against patron warrior, although druid really has no good aoe, and you'd have to cut some key activators of fang to include this)
i know since he don't have good aoe damge taunt or healing could be good replace every deck have its own way to protect your hero or protect your minons but problem is for good example when i play vs face hunter all he focus on is hit my face and nothing stop him or give me more time as taunt or healing and swipe not good for area damge since its make only 1 damge and 4 crystal and i will not need the 4 damge it makes since all his minons same cost crystal and health and its very hard to make savage roar+force of nature you need anything that make match long if its not by aoe damge then atlest add taunts or big healing card , btw i have question i may know what kind of the deck but don't know the name what is mean tempo im not noob but not much people use tempo word or deck alot and ask about meta too
amazIng deck I love druid of the flame and to all who dont have rag the deck would be weaker the deck has 4 BGH target and im pretty sure if rag or boom does not get BGH it will wreck late game.
rag will also serve as a secondary finisher.
Out of those three, sylvanas would be the one to replace it with. however, I don't think that sylvanas is nearly as good is this aggressive deck.
Would it be possible to put in a Stonetusk Boar as an activator for the Fang and as a combo piece for Savage Roar? It's also free with Thaurissan.
I have seen decks that do that run Stonetusk Boar similar to this. I have yet to try it out, but i dont know how reliable it would be in this deck. In addition, I don't know where you would find space for it. Every card in the druid deck needs to have value, and boar in and of itself does not have much value. I'm sure it's worth testing out, if you have more success with it than another card be sure to let me know!
I guess a Ironbeak Owl is better than that?
Well, Ironbeak costs 2 and doesn't have charge; it would depend on what you were facing.
well its not about charge because all you need just beast in board not charge make necessary with it but its very need if you play hunter and put scavenging hyena to make sure it charge and die and power up your hyena
I renamed this deck "Beast Wars". I'm having a lot of fun playing it. Can't wait for the next Druid card release.

Growths are a must for every druid deck out there because it gives insane tempo.
What are the matchups supposed to be like in terms of favored/unfavored? I lost ranks from 4 to 9 playing this but I don't usually play druid (just yesterday crafted a second lore and a force of nature) so I'm probably doing some things wrong. I'm guessing it will be better vs aggro with druid of the flame although the 4/2 stealth has been pretty good to set up lethal in some matches (I'm guessing the 2/5 flame will be survivable enough to trigger the druid of the fang buff)
I've enjoyed playing it so far even though I'm bad. Making the 7/7 beasts reminds me of making big blood knights in a divine shield deck except they are only vulnerable to bgh. I do like how rogues sapping it doesn't kill the value of the card as it can be replayed as a 7/7. I think maybe what I don't have down is the timing. Getting hit with bgh can cause some serious problems if the opponent can bgh and then play something reasonably big. It seems like if I don't have boom/rag follow up then I often just lose. Maybe I'm too used to playing Paladin which has more powerful comeback mechanisms. Anyway, cool deck.
The matchups are very similar to combo druid. It's weak points are mech mage and shaman. I believe it performs better against pally and ramp druid than normal combo druid. As flame has not yet come out yet, I will be waiting to write more detail on matchups. I agree that panther is not as good vs aggro as flame will be, but i dont know how that will effect the midrange/control matchups. Check back sometime next week for a more detailed guide to this deck.
Thanks. I will check back later. It definitely seems like mech mage is a bad matchup. Face hunter is too unless I'm playing it wrong. Sadly those two were like 50% of the matchups. I'm guessing druid of the flame won't improve the mage matchup since a 2/5 can't kill the 2/3 mechs and face hunter wins through charge damage if there isn't a taunt up every turn but maybe it helps in other matchups. It seems a bit difficult to tech in some cards like healbot without interfering with the ramp.
If you're facing a lot of face hunters, belcher in place of loatheb could be considered (or a healbot, although I wouldn't recommend it). I have had great success with this deck vs face hunter (70/30), getting spiders out to take out the 2/1's and and combos with fang to make a 7/7 to race him down. I think this decks performs better against face than regular combo druid (2 spiders and 2 flames in place of 1 chow and 2 shades is much better in the early game).
