This is the deck I built to win the Dark Iron Arena Heroic Challenge. After several attempts with other decks first, I built this deck and won with it the second time I tried.

In the deck you must use your spells to gain board control. You also have a few minions that may help you with that: Patient Assassin, Goblin Auto-Barber, SI:7 Agent and Violet Apprentice (from Violet Teacher). These creatures can be run into enemy minions when needed. The other two minions, Azure Drake and Violet Teacher, you should try to keep alive since they help you when you play your spells. They should instead hit as much enemy face as possible to grind the enemy down.

One very important spell is Blade Flurry, since it can deal a lot of damage to all enemies, included the enemy hero. This is very useful since the opponent plays a lot of high health minions that take a lot of damage before they die. Also, since the enemy minions pack a lot of damage (except the minions with taunt from the enemy hero power) Betrayal is a very useful spell. There is also Sap for whenever you cannot deal with an enemy minion in your current turn. Sap becomes more effective if you use it on high cost enemy minions, like Foe Reaper 4000.

Try not to hit the big enemy minions with your weapon, since you will take a lot of damage and you don't have any cards that heal. Instead use your weapon on those pesky minions with taunt, and use your array of spells to deal with the other minions. If the enemy plays Lorewalker Cho or Nat Pagle, a tip is to run the Patient Assassin into them, since they have 0 attack damage and the Patient Assassin will survive.

You should try to mulligan for Backstab, Patient AssassinBlade Flurry and Sap. You may also keep an Azure Drake or a Violet Teacher in your starting hand, since these cards are very essential when you start casting all your spells. Also try to use your weapon every turn to kill off the 1/1 enemy minions with taunt, since if they stack up they make it much harder to play cards like Patient Assassin that needs to attack the big enemy minions.

Make sure you keep board control and don't take too much damage and you will have a good chance at winning. Remember to always trigger your combos for maximum effect! Good luck and have fun!
