Thaurissan gets you low on health very quickly, so I figured playing a deck that likes to be low on health could be the trick. Therefore, Demonlock or Handlock was what I decided to play. Obviously all the taunts normally in these decks is a problem so they had to go, and after they left there was plenty of room for the other utility cards necessary to beat Thaurissan.

This deck is played very similarly to Handlock or Demonlock, but without all the control. Slow the bleed with Mistress of Pain and by using Crazed Alchemist to decrease Moira Bronzebeards attack and increase her survivability.

Next up, get those 8/8s down as soon as possible and start recking face and controlling the board.

Turns 5 & 6 you'll need to silence and Abomination or two and on Turn 7 you'll want your minions to survive a Flamestrike.

Mal'Ganis will save your butt, but will also make you vulnerable as Moira Bronzebeard will now start attacking your non-taunt minions because she can't target your face. Try to use Ironbeak Owl to silence the 2nd Abomination as, for some reason, Moira Bronzebeard chooses that creature to attack first, which she'll survive because you Crazed Alchemisted her.

Finish Thaurissan off with Demonheart or a Power Overwhelming or two.
