High Justice Grimstone (Dark Iron Arena)
This is a deck for heroic High Justice Grimstone using some epic and legendary cards.
High Justice Grimstone is the second heroic boss and he starts off with 15 Armor, 30 Health, and 3 mana. His deck consists completely of legendary minions and he gets off to a very fast start. It is not uncommon for him to have 3-4 minions on his second turn. If you can manage to take the board early you can put up a fight and hold out for Flamestrike. Hold onto Polymorph if you draw one because he will often cast Deathwing on turn 10 whether he needs to or not.
Special Cards
These are special cards used by heroic High Justice Grimstone.
Card Swap Suggestions
These are suggestions for swapping out cards in the posted deck for use against heroic High Justice Grimstone if you are missing some of the epic or legendary cards.
You can add a couple of Vaporize and Kirin Tor Mage in place of the legendary cards. You could even try Mad Bomber and Frost Nova to try and keep his taunts off the board or delay him.
Using Other Classes
If you want to try another class to defeat this encounter I would suggest using Paladin with Equality and Humility to help control the board. Toss in some life gain and Divine Shields and you should have a pretty good chance of beating him.

Hey guys, the same deck author as this deck, neonangel, has a different deck for this boss with Animated Armor and a video guide (like most of his other decks; he has both written guides and video guides) and that deck worked better for me.
That Animated Armor deck can be found here: http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/713623-dark-iron-arena-high-justice-grimstone-heroic
I have found neonangel's guides and decks to be quite helpful. I had no luck with this deck but every other deck of his with the video guides I have had amazing success with. Used his decks for Naxxramas and between the written guides and video guides -- he doesn't just show one win, he shows five wins for each of these bosses, so you can see how to play it a variety of ways -- I finally got my Naxx card back.
Anyway, neonangel's other High Justice Grimstone deck with the Animated Armor was the one that I used to beat this boss. Took me two attempts. :)
second try. mirror entity > hogger + MCT > hogger sealed that deal, haha!
So many first try posts, but here I am, on my like 11-12th attempt and I can never stabalize.
This deck is a good alternative if you do not have ice block. I got lucky and got Illidan Stormrage with a mirror entity, and then used Sylvanas to take his Foe Reaper 4000. It was all downhill from there but the key was early board control. Since he starts with several mana crystals more than you, being able to last until turn seven for a flame strike is essential. Hope this helps!
a LOT of luck goes into winning against these OP bosses
This deck worked on the first try! Thx
I was able to win on the second try with this deck after some modifications. That makes this deck the most consistent deck to win with on Hearthpwn. I went with Vaporize and Kirin Tor Mage over all the legendaries except Sylvanas Windrunner, she was important to keep.
You don't have to worry about any spells from him (unless he has Lorewalker Cho and you cast something) so you only need to consider which minions to trade. He starts out ahead on mana and will ramp up quickly so it's nice to have a Mind Control Tech in your opening hand, but not absolutely critical. Good luck!
Ty much. 1st attempt.
Thanks, beat him first try after a couple of failed attempts with other decks. Got really lucky with a Tirion from a Mirror Imaged Sneed's. Killed him with Ashbringer after he cleared the board with Deathwing.
I just mirrored deathwing! :D
Works like a charm.
Good deck! it has the utilities to keep you alive until he plays Deathwing. The AI will play deathwing with sylvannas on the board, which is hilarious. Maybe blizzard should fix that.
20+ tries before this with no luck, then won easily the first time using this deck, have my up vote!
After trying for 4 hours with the druid deck posted on the front page, I got it in about 6 or 7 tries with this deck. At the very least, this one isn't a press concede simulator. Replaced Hogger with emperor, in my kill emp never came up.
Lol, Lorewalker Cho keep giving me Mirror Images, Eventually Mind Controlled Grull with Sylvannas Windrunner. Faceroll.
Fun!!
Thanks for the deck, mate. Beat him with 1st try!
