This is the first deck I’ve published here on hearthpwn so bear with me. I wanted to create a deck that had an answer to both control decks, midrange, and the popular aggro decks in the current meta. I’ve edited this deck a ton and this is what I’m currently using. I’ll update it as I continue to change things out but so far this deck has gotten me from rank 20 to rank 11 in roughly 4.5 hours this April season.

This is 100% a control deck as it has answers to early and midgame meta while having a very strong finish. With 2 Antique Healbots, Siphon Soul,Lord Jaraxxus, and Alexstrasza it’s hard for any opponent to get you all the way down.

Between your hero power, Mortal Coil, and Ysera, I’ve never had a problem with card draw.

After this first wing opening in BRM I added in Emperor Thaurissan because he’s amazing. He is often played before any of your other large minions making him a target for silences, Shadow Word: Death, and any removal with the exception of BGH. On top of being a midgame target Thaurissan allows your larger minions to be played at a bare minimum of one turn earlier. If you don’t have any large minions in your hand he can help make other removal combos significantly cheaper.

As I mentioned earlier this is a deck where you usually have at least 4 or 5 cards in your hand. Thaurissan is essentially a 1 mana 5/5 when you have 4 other cards in your hand. The value from him is insane.

As far as removal goes you have turn oneMortal Coil and Zombie Chow.

For turn two you haveDarkbombExplosive Sheep (only actionable if you have the coin), and weapon removal Acidic Swamp Ooze

Turn 3: Shadow Bolt which is never anticipated by an opponent.

Turn 4:Hellfire,Shadowflame

Turn 6: Siphon Soul

Turn 8: Twisting Nether - this is one of my favorite removal spells to whip out. The most common scenario I've run into is when I'm up against a midrange or control deck and it's well past turn 8 but they have 2 or more minions out and a very small hand, or no hand at all. Needless to say this card has won me many games I should have lost.

I ran Corruptionfor a long time in this deck but I ended up taking it out because the value just wasn’t there.

Anyways let me know what you think and I’ll keep you updated and try to respond to any questions.
