Edit 21/08/16:
Looks like blizz finally gut the strategy, if he has enough damage to break through the taunt to get to Kel'Thuzad, he will.
Thanks to anyone who used and upvoted the deck, you can still try to use it but you'll have to actually trade and keep Kel'Thuzad alive. I'm not going to edit strategy below, but keep in mind most of it is outdated.
Strategy:
Mulligan for Ancestral Spirit and Reincarnate for Kel'Thuzad.
If you draw into minion concede and try again.
GO STRAIGHT FOR FACE FROM TURN 1 - turn 2 you will have both Kel'Thuzad and a taunt out. Don't waste your time trading with his minions.
AI does not attack taunts when you have KT up.
Things you might look out for:
Inner Rage + Execute combo - There's small chance he might have it. To be safe Ancestral Spirit or Reincarnate your Kel'Thuzad.
Mogor the Ogre - Earth Shock or Hex is OK for him, you don't want to miss face.
Baron Geddon - Although he shouldn't be able to deal enough damage to kill anything, feel ok to cc him.
Get' em! - If (for some unknown reason) you take out his minion turn 2, he will only have 3 other minions on the field leaving him enough space to summon 4 Guzzlers. This is punishment for not hitting face.
Brawl - he might cast it if you somehow make it to turn 5 (or turn 4 w/ his coin). He shouldn't cast it if you have 3 minions on the field, so holding off with your hero power and not casting wolves should prevent him from using it.
Card replacement:
You can replace any spell/weapons as you like as long as you don't add any minions.
Only core cards are Kel'Thuzad and a taunt.
Ancestral Spirit and Reincarnate are very important to make deck more reliable, but don't feel obliged to craft AS if you don't have it.
Lord of the Arena can be subbed for any taunt, works funniest with Al'Akir the Windlord due to Rockbiter Weapon and Reincarnate synergy.
Actually you can replace Thrall with any hero, but most of them don't have as good counter for Execute and Mogor the Ogre which are the biggest threats.
Usual turn 3:
There is a .000025% chance that you will pull a Windfury, Rockbiter Weapon, and Reincarnate or Ancestral Spirit on turn 1.
Meanwhile there is a .000033% chance that you will pull Kel'Thuzad or Lord of the Arena.
You have a very small chance to pull a minion with this deck which is good and consistent. You also have a very small chance to pull the combo of cards you want to win by turn 3 which is not consistent. Therefore, this deck will always be inconsistent to win by turn 3. And again, you are still susceptible to Execute.
Why take Al'Akir the Windlord out of your deck when that is what made you win on Turn 4?
There is nothing wrong with his minions being able to attack and there is no need to make compromises with your spells. You should choose the best cards for your deck, always.
this is a hilarious bug
Helluva lot of fun. Don't make the mistake that I made by casting Ancestral Healing on [card]Kel'Thuzad[/card]; the enemy minions will attack it!
great video, hope you get Stoneclaw Totem every time!
SMOrc I MUST ATTACK THAT HERO WITH TAUNT SMOrc
can anyone tell me how you get the creatures out by turn 3?
you clearly dont know how the fight works
guzzler's ability is to put a minion from each player's deck into the battlefield
Sorry, but someone can explain to me how it works?
The deck has a pretty clear description...
This is so broken, lol.
Deck works great, normally turn 4 wins. Suggestion : If you have sunwalker, put it in the deck because they dont attack it for some reason
the taunt doesn't matter. they are all equally bugged
It works...
my gosh this is so broken... at least its not the naxxramas Palidin class challenge card... that still is just a joke of a challenge. all rng
It is a good deck and easy to win i guess, but i don't see how you can win with it on turn 3 ?!
On turn 2 you can deal 6 damage. In the best case you have 2 Kel'Thuzads and 2 Lord of the Arena on the board which make 24 damage. So 30 in total. The 3 mana you can spend on Rockbiter Weapen, Lightning Bolt, Crackle or Windfury. But it doesn't matter which combination you play, you won't deal another 15 damage.
turn 2 windfury on whatever you get thats 12
turn 3 2x rockbiter on your windfured guy for 24 (36 total), and attack for 6 with other guy (42) + lightning bolt for exact lethal
sometimes he inner rages KT without executing him, giving you more damage output
I didn't consider that since it is not the strategy which was suggested ;) However, i doubt that it really works. Usually he tries to kill your minion and if you don't have a dragon with 12 health it normally dies. Or have you done it once?
It works but it's very unlikely because you need to draw 4 specific cards (2 copies of rockbiter at that) by turn 3.
But frankly by turn 3 I meant 3rd turn where you act, because turn 1 always ends with pass.
anyway that turn 4, you got 4 mana crystal cause you start first, that the reason the other have 3 mana
