A delay mage deck that works nicely and has a unique feeling to it. Ideally the enemy gets destroyed on turn 10 or 11.
We have enough spells so this works very well.
Used instead of a second frostbolt. Freezes stuff.
Look at the spell count. Works very well with Ice Lance. Synergy with Acolyte of Pain and Gurubashi Berserker.
Acolyte of Pain:
Heropower and Pyromancer synergy. Card draw.
delay taunt and eats enemy removal
LOOK at that value. Also freezes stuff.
Healing. Not two because one Ice Barrier helps us get above 30 Health and triggers pyromancers.
Draw and Spell damage.
Heropower and pyromancer synergy. also eats enemy silence and removal away.
regain board control. also freezes stuff
Priestess of Elune:
Small heal, more aggressive than healbot.
at round 10 you can Ice Lance pretty hard (9 damage) if you have the Snowchugger or Water Elemental out. Otherwise use a Frost Elemental + Ice Lance next turn. Or any other damage spell.
Damage/freeze for 1 mana. Synergy with half of this deck.
Damage and freeze. Synergy with half of this deck.
Gamble card. Gain an insane early advantage or not. Triggers pyromancer.
heals us above 30 Life. Pyromancer.
Removal/hero finisher. Not two because we have a Pyroblast.
Emergency delay and AoE.
Hero finisher/emergency removal.
Is Malygos needed?
Archmage Antonidas is also an option.
Replaced one Flamestrike with another Blizzard, more synergy and emergency delay.
Replaced one Mana Wyrm for a Faceless Manipulator. This enables you to copy Malygos for a spell finish, or counter enemy buffed up minions. Also replaced the Deathlord with a Defender of Argus. This helps keeping your minions out of spell kill range.
The Acolyte of Pain and Gurubashi Berserker were too slow. Additionally we are using the hero power to finish off enemy minions not buffing our minions up. The Spellbreaker is replacing the second polymorph, which is better against mech decks, and the duplicate may allow you to copy him.
