Update 26/03/2015:
Wow thank you all for reaching 20 k views, I'd like to thank you everyone for this achievement.
by the way I want to clarify some things, first of all i haven't done this deck, neither Savjz but some random chinese guy did it, I'm no even legend I'm just struggling at high ranks (1-5) and wanted to share this deck, because i thought was really good and gave me a really nice score in these weeks.
now let's pass to the deck:
[card]Gilblin Stalker[/card] Is good because he ins untargettable by your opponent and he will remain on board for long times, giving you tempo and spell damage.
Lightbomb x2 is fundamental very good removal, works with spell power
[card]Deathlord[/card] is a really good card helps with very early game where this deck struggle a bit, I always mulligan for this card against hunters and mage
Antique Healbot can be swapped out for Loatheb if there are too many druids in ladder;
Don't add Dr. Boom because it makes enemy lose tempo, he will fear to use Big Game Hunter and he will have that dead card all the time in hand.
Found out that second Sludge Belcher is insanely good, according to the days i would swap out or Cabal Shadow Priest if druid and mech mages are lacking else Piloted Shredder
Overall this deck is based on maintaining a very high tempo and punishing enemies overextending so don't use Lightbomb too early.
Remember that spell damage counts for Lightbomb
Current W/L ratio:
Mech mage 65 /35
Face Hunter 70/30
Fast Druid 60/40
Mid range hunter 60/40
Tempo Mage 55/45
Mid range pally 50/50
Control War 40/60
Freeze Mage 40/60
Tempo mech Shaman 35/65
complete junk. don't bother with this deck.
Thanks for posting this. I have been struggling to grind out my priest games :( trying to get last golden hero, this is quite fun and different to play than the standard priest.
gilbiln stalker? what. i just saw this deck on the viagame tournament on stream and i was thoroughly confused. i guess this is a thing then? im gonna try it out
yea after playing with this deck a bit its amazing. im glad priest is viable again its been so long since i played it
I wouldn't brag about all your misplays in a video, that was painful to watch.
Does not work very well against control decks. Lost to handlock and warrior. Works really good with Mind control tech instead of second lightbomb. Only against aggressive meta, like hunters, zoo, pals. Need to be careful with shamans, but its a good matchup too.
I like the looks of this deck but I am just not winning. The 1st few games I made complete mistakes so I know those were my fault but I am learning the deck more and I am just losing board control. My minions don't ever come out in the early game (RNG) then I just get out classed with minions.
Correct me if I am wrong but this deck seems like it needs time to be effective. I seem to be slower at putting out minions in the beginning but then toward the end I can mass clear and play minions. But from the 10+ games I played already it just doesn't work all the time.
It's not Savjz's deck, it was made by some other player. I think he even said on stream. Here's the link with complete guide:

You should give credit to right people....Savjz just played it and made it popular, he didn't make the deck
All Non-Aggro decks have very high win rate vs. this deck.
This deck is great. Makes Priest able to play completely differently than usual. I just opened my first Lightbomb, and I can't believe how much card this frees up Priest decks. Less combo reliant plays are VERY refreshing. I replaced 1 Lightbomb with a second Sludge Belcher, does that sound OK? So far it has been working pretty well at rank 11.
The first strong priest deck since GvG! Just so much fun to play, you have a lot of options and can really trap your opponent. I climbed from rank 9 to 3 in 2 days. I tried Shadowboxer instead of Giblin, but i think Giblin is more consistent. Against some matchups you just cant drop Shadowboxer on 2 (Rogue). My best matchup is handlock, worst is rogue.
Just a great deck!
amazing deck.
it's unique, i was lucky to collect one from pack. but i don't think that second one is worth crafting.
Without Lightbomb, i'd recommend trying a more classic control priest deck instead. This deck can't really deal with threats consistently without the bombs.
Lightbomb is very key removal and what makes this deck so viable. There is no replacement, if you don't have it, you can't make the deck.
U guys should not cut stalker. In fact maybe u should run 2. It is one of your early plays to cast velen on curve
Care to explain why Gilblin Stalker is so essential in this deck? I fail to see the advantages over say Shadowboxer or Acidic Swamp Ooze
The giblin stalker is a really good minion because of his stickiness and being untargettable, enabling to trigger really strong combos
I'll say taht I don't think its the BEST card. I think Zombie Chow is still better because you want either a 1 drop and then coin on turn 2 to get out velen's chosen.
I do feel that the stalker is better than both ooze and the shadowboxer because it has stealth.
You don't necessarily need to break stealth until you have the buff inyour hand.
often you will find your two drop answered immediately by removal. If you get it to stick then hey great. But stalker is much more resilient than either of those options.
A priest wants to do this
ON the PLAY
turn 1: NSC or chow (against warrior then nothing)
turn 2: NSC or chow if not on turn 1, or trade and then heal up minion.
turn 3: velen's if possible.
ON the DRAW:
turn 1: NSC or chow
turn 2: coin velen's.
On the draw, your one drops are immune to the most common removal. Warriors wont have coin for axe, druids can't wrath, etc. So that is pretty obvious.
Now on the play, things are different. If you play a shadowboxer on turn 2, it is still very weak to the existing removal. Stalker isn't. you can play it on curve and thenplay velen's after. Also, you can play it on curve and not worry at all. Just keep it stealthed until you secure teh board or want to take advantage of some buffs. Clearly better. Shadowboxer is not a great choice unless u have circle of healings in addition to the novas. that 1 damage is so random. better off with pyromancer.
This deck is WAY better than the other top voted decks. Been testing other priest decks on ladder (mostly between rank 12 and rank 9) and no other did as good as this one. No waiting for 2 combo cards, good removal overall, decent midgame and strong late game.
My only change: I took both Deathlord since they usually give too much tempo to your opponent and added Spider Tank. In my view, is the best neutral 3 drop at the moment.
What makes this deck stand out in the current meta is definitely 2x Lightbomb. Can't count by hand how many times this little bastard saved my ass against mech mage, oil rogue and muster + quartermaster combos.
