Video Guide with Mulligans and Gameplay:
Replacements?
Kel Thuzad = Ragnaros, Piloted Sky Golem
Silvanas = Silvanas
Dr.Boom = Dr.Boom
Trade Prince Gallywix = Piloted Sky Golem
Mulligans:
I do not have Trade Prince Gallywix or Edwin VanCleef, however right now the Meta seems to be very aggressive so I subbed in 2 Deathlord. I was able to go 3-0 thus far, against a Control Warrior, and 2 Secrets Mages. Small sample size at early ranks, but I was never in too much danger. Will keep playing this deck :)
Not sure if I should keep Dr. Boom or go for a Trogzor instead since I do not have Trade Prince Gallywix?
delete this shit
P4wnyhof i do like your Rogue decks - maybe you can make some Malygos deck? :)
Its a nice deck. Works fine for me.
For all of you wondering where to putEmperor Thaurissan just throw out Trade Prince Gallywix cause honestly he is garbage.
Gallywix is NOT garbage, he can be a fantastic card late game, I don't even think Thaurissan is necessary in the deck
so .. a 6 mana 5/8 !!!! with an amazing text is a garbage card !! yeah right
wow ... (not the good one xD)
Well don't know if it is just the nature of HS or my luck or what but everyday with this deck is different. I went on a 9 game winning streak one day, then lost 9 in a row the very next day.
Hi man, great deck, I love it!
What you think about new Blackrock Mountain cards?
I think Dark Iron Skulker can helps with aggro decks, and Emperor Thaurissan is quite interesting !
If I want to use Emperor Thaurissan in this deck. Would it be better to replace Kel'thuzad or Trade Prince?
I am just putting Thaurissan in over Loatheb, I'll let you know how it goes.
Development: As far as curve goes, replacing Loatheb seems to work great, and gee Thaurissan seems to be good value in this deck. However I am 0/4 vs the new Thaurrissan/Inj. Bladmstr/Resurrect Priest decks that are running around. :((((
I feel like this deck lacks the means to come back from an early board advantage from mech-lists. Thoughts?
After running this deck for a few days, I have to say that I love it. Out of the 9 classes, Rogue has always been my least favorite to play. I never felt comfortable with it. However, after managing to pull both a golden Edwin VanCleef and a golden Trade Prince Gallywix from packs, I figured that I should put a serious effort into learning the class and becoming comfortable with it.
This deck has been amazing in that endeavor. I went from losing a few games to a 6 or so game win streak over the last couple hours. Trade Prince Gallywix has been the hero of many of my games, and I feel that he is really undervalued as a card. If you're able to clear your opponent's board and play Gallywix, you're able to out-tempo your opponent like crazy after that point. With a clear board, your opponent usually has to kill Gallywix using spells. I've gotten Whirlwinds and Executes from Warriors. I've gotten Backstabs, Deadly Poisons, Eviscerates, and Blade Flurries from Rogues. I even got an Innervate and Savage Roar from my last Druid. A few times, these spells that I gain are just enough for me to win the game over the next few turns. While Gallywix does eat the occasional silence, his huge body and his effect always seems to clench the board in my favor.
Great deck. Thanks!
not a good deck, lost every game against every class,
and yes I know how to play a rogue, yes I have all the cards, yes I've been playing since launch, yes I reach rank 10 or better every season
Rank 10 is not even good lol
its horid
Actually it depends on the season. Last season I finished rank 12 and that was the top 15% of ranked players. That's not bad from any perspective.
I recently started to play rogue, and this deck is amazing, i don't have Bloodmage Thalnos and Edwin VanCleef, so i replaced them with a Kobold Geomancer and a Gnomish Inventor, i also replaced Sylvanas Windrunner with Toshley, and still works very well, thanks for the deck.
lol Thalnos is not replaceable with that freaking Kobold
I know it's not, but at least i have enough card draw in the deck, and the low cost + spelldamage of the Kobold is working fine. xD
