This is an almost all basic Freeze Mage deck that I got from watching Amaz lose to it at rank 25.  You can see the video here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p4mhO8nCUls 

The only non-basic card is Mirror Entity.  If you don't have it I might replace it with Ironfur Grizzly for taunt or Stormpike Commando for removal.  Play around and see what works for you.  I got lucky on my basic account by opening up some Mechanical Yeti's to replace my Chillwind Yeti's, and some other fun GvG cards to fill in the basic mage cards I was missing.  (I still don't have Flamestrike on that account.)

I'd suggest mulliganing for Frostbolt, Arcane Missiles, and maybe Mirror Image.  This deck is all about ruining your opponents game, and keeping your minions alive to hit face.  Don't be afraid to use your Fireball's for removal, but remember to pay attention to the enemy hero's health!  Sometimes I forget to check for lethal!
