I watched Silentstorm's games and was pretty interested in his card choices for his demonlock deck. I believe I have this correct, please let me know if there are any mistakes in the deck list.
I take no credit for the list, I just wanted to put it out there for those who are interested.
best replacement for Mal'Ganis? He's the only one I don't have..
I suspected as much, but thought Id ask anyway. thanks!
Hmm, not really. If you don't have Mal'Ganis, also remove Dr Boom and enjoy dodging BGH.
Malganis is more important to this particular deck, but if you don't have Dr. Boom, I'd make that your priority to be honest, just wait until you can afford Malganis to try this deck, but Boom has much more overall value (just not in terms of this deck)
Been doing well with this deck! F- the meta!!! well, until this deck becomes part of the meta lol
This is probly a veryvery stupid question, but is Mal'Ganis the winning condition in this deck?
Ty for the answer :)
I've been playing something like this lately and it worked better than I suspected. This one takes different parts from Zoo but it is similar, start with small critters to either get in damage or blunt an early rush, then transition into strong mid-game using healthy minions and life-tap to out-value your opponent.
I think its Darkbomb and Implosion that make this sort of deck viable and let you transition from your early game minions to mid and late game without loosing board control.
This is a very good deck and tons of fun to play. However, priest and control warrior are very tough match ups. Pretty much any control deck is going to outlast you. Especially if you do not draw into voidcallers. With that said, I really do like this deck. turn 5 Mal'Ganis is quite an entertaining situation.
I thought the same thing until I started playing the deck, and I got the opportunity to drop Defender of Argus next to a 3/15 Jaraxxus.
Or you can just go to the official deck list http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/200777-silentstorms-warlock-esl-legendary-series-winter
I see demonheart run in almost every demonlock deck I've seen, any justification for why it wasn't chosen here?
Keep mistress or pain voidwalker and mortal coil and don't tap often or you will get r e k t
Thanks for the time to share this, man!
What would be a suitable replacement for Mal'Ganis? Would a Doomguard work?
I know it's one of the more important cards but I don't really feel like crafting him for a niche deck.
Mal'Ganis and Doomguard mechanics are pretty different. They are both generally nice to get from a Void Caller, but running 2 Doomguard in a deck like this pretty much guarantees you will be discarding cards you don't want to lose. The next biggest demon you could sub is a Dread Infernal.
Sneed's Old Shredder, Ragnaros, KT... Any big legendary that can assist you in the late game.
I think he was running 2 hellfires and only one darkbomb
dont think so
