You can't replace Dr.Boom.
Neptulon can be replaced with Black Knight, Sylvanas
Al'Akir can be replaced with Ragnaros/Doomhammer
You can't replace the Zombie Chow
I will try to answer all questions. Also feel free to ask me on stream.
Piloted sky golem/cairne maybe
Very good deck ! thank you for this.
Since by wild luck I got Neptulon as a drop, I was looking for a deck which includes it. Turns out this one had all the cards I had (except Al'Akir the Windlord, but even like that it works good so far).
P.S: "Witness the power of pure water!!!" Kreygasm
Just got legend today with this deck aswell!:D
Thanks! Just got legend with this deck. 68% winrate from rank 6 to rank legend. Replaced Neptulon to Black Knight, coz tons of druids and Sludges. Some stats:
Mech Mages are the only problem. Need rly nice start (or bad mulligan for mage) to beat them.
I think I am going to use black knight also. Thanks for the suggestion. My question is that the deck that here is not the same on on the tempstorm website? Wonder why?
Nice job. How useful was BGH during your climb? I might switch BGH for Black Knight and keep Neptulon because I really enjoy using Neptulon.
Sometimes I can use BGH on Dr. Boom/Ragnaros and keep hex for Sylvanas/Sneed's/anything else. BGH obviously is not useless, but sometimes I finish a long game with unused BGH in my hand. After all, there are 2*hex and 2*silence in this deck, so you can switch BGH.
Also you can think about BGH -> Healbot switch against aggro's.
Yea this deck is good. I just need to play it to try and avoid hoping for good RNG. That is why shaman is a hard class because like the TempoStorm website said that Shaman has a lot of spells that need good RNG and that is something I don't have. But I a lot of times am able to hold the board until my big minions come out and then I win.
Would i be able to run this deck if don't got neptulon or Al'Akir? I have all the replacements he listed just wondering if it's viable.
Got legend with one replace: Neptulon -> Black knight.
I think that Al'akir is better than Doomhammer, coz you can combo it with flametongue totem, not only rockbitter. Also Al'akir can destroy 2 minions and def your face as taunt - usefull option vs druids when u need protect your face (i mean 14dmg combo). Obviously Doomhammer needs some heroheal.
IMO, Al'akir is much stronger than Ragnaros too - no RNG, rarely 3+3dmg, often 5+5 or 6+6 dmg, u can split damage, taunt, immun to BGH - are often better then Ragna's 8 random dmg.
I removed both of those cards from my version.
Try Sylvannis and The Black Knight. I've traded in Loatheb too. I run Sylvannis + 2 reincarnate that I can use to trigger Sylvannis or even Sludge Belcher.
Love this deck dude!..
I think your mistake is to put "Neptulon can be replaced...".
No, Neptulon is so fucking awesome to left him behind...
(Sorry bout my english)
I like this deck a lot, but doesn't it need a heal? It's so close so often against hunters.
Also, what's the reason for Loatheb? Surviving a crucial turn? As Vbmiddleman below here points out, it's maybe not clear what style this deck is. To me it seems a control deck, at least I play it like that. At times I have a giant board presence and wonder why I don't have blood lust to finish it, so I guess it's control. But why is Loatheb in?
Just to be clear, I really enjoy this deck. I'm a giant fan of Al'Akir which I crafted and i got a random Neptulon from a pack which is great fun so far.
I thought about trying this myself... glad to hear it's working well!
Hey man. It's nice to see traditional midrange shaman making a comeback.
Question: why no powermace? Isn't this the best shaman card for early game board control? And you have 2 mechs already. Add in one Arcane Nullifier X-21, annoy o trons for creepers and powermace might be worthwhile.
Time to find a new meta breaker deck to break this deck ^^
Got all the cards except neptulon(replaced him with a black knight). With all the one of's it feels like im playing an Arena Deck.
I just got wrecked by this deck while playing mid range pally :(
