People wanted me to post the deck here aswell so yea. This deck has reached Rank 1 EU. Trump and Strifecro streamed this today so you can check that out too.
FAQ:
Why Abusive Seargent: Versatile 1 drop. The deck kinda needed another early drop for tempo matchups. Also really good for trading up vs control. It's the only 1-drop that is still good mid/lategame.
Do I go face? Not too much. With this deck your curve supports slow play. Once you have board control, you definitely push your advantage though, especially if you have a bursty hand.
Why the random belchers? Belcher has become a lot safer to play due to the decline of Black Knight and Priest (Shadow Madness, Shadow Word Pain). It also hits a very important attack value on 3, killing Rogue minions; Mechwarper, Snowchugger and outrading Shredder. It also diffuses aggro
Replacement for Dr.Boom? Almost impossible to replace. Closest one would be Rag.
I have winrates tracked on my twitter.

I don't find that to be true. Usually mech mages run out of steam by turn 5-6 while I'm just getting started. It's about 65/35 for me.
Just on a current 10 win streak. Only changes I made were Rag for Boom, and dropped a Highmane for Sylvannus.
Excellent base deck. Well done!
Sylvanas is great, but Highmane is just so much better.
Hey, I really like this... mostly because I can almost completely make it right now XD I've been collecting hunter goods with the hope of building something good one day.
What I'm missing: 1x Savannah Highmane and 1x Piloted Shredder. Right now, I've replaced Highmane with Sylvanas Windrunner - Same mana cost, similar death-for-more-creatures effect, only does not trigger Knife Juggler. I've replaced the second Shredder with Flare, which seems like it would be really important against most Mages, Paladins, and Hunters.
I have 2x Snake Trap which I hate to go to waste. What's good to side out for these? I'm interested in 3+ traps, to better enhance the effectiveness of Eaglehorn Bow and Mad Scientist. Is it actually better to only use one kind of trap, so you always know what the Scientist will pull out?
You should really only play Freezing Trap instead of putting an extra Snake Trap. I've tested Snake Trap and Freezing Trap is way better in this deck. I wouldn't play both, because it's so nice that you always know 100% what Mad Scientist is gonna put down for you. If you really want to use Snake Trap, use the deck Snake Bite. It got really good synergy there! Eaglehorn Bow is just doing fine with 2x Freezing Trap! Anyway, that's just my opinion haha!
Agreed Enzevil. The certainty of getting freezing is very useful.
Great Deck. Yesterday 7 wins in row from Rank 2 and anohter Legend title for me :))
Thank you Senx!
Good deck but often lacks early responses against 2/3 mech turn 2 minions.
Played this deck last night to beat my hunter quest. Went from Rank 8 to Rank 10...
Played snakebite hunter instead and went immediately back up to 9 with 1 more star to go to get back to 8.
I must have faced about 6 hunters out of 10 games...1 was a face rush, the other 5 were this or a close variation.
Snakebite wrecks this deck. It was nice not having hunter as the only class on ladder, seems those days are over thanks to Trump's video.
Never thought I'd would have to go down this route: As somebody who declared Hunter "dead" after the Undertaker nerf, I now have to fully aknowledge, that the class is back, not only as yolo, but as an incredible strong midrange Deck... actually it probably has never really gone away, but we were all to stupid to see it! Kudos SenX!
Incredible Deck btw... I only durdled around this month without really going to Legend, but it immediately went 70% winrate at Rank 4 (and this even with some lazyness missplays ...)
Hi,so basicly I like this deck and I like its concept, but i dont know what am I doing wrong.I started at rank 10 and now I am rank 12 with this deck.Fault is probably on my side, but some help would be nice.Only change I made is that i swaped Mad Scientist for Explosive Trap and that 4 mana cost hunter spell which deals 3 dmg to 2 random enemies(forgot its name :D)
Now I am actually saving money for Naxxramas, anyway i didnt ask for this,I asked for advice.Anyway, thx for your help.Still have no idea how can I fail so much.
Basically you just told the reason yourself: without the scientists, a central deck engine kind of falls to pieces: without the scientists it is even debattable if you want to run traps and bow at all, more importantly you loose one of the few central early drops the deck has and that carry it to its incredible powerful mid- to lategame ...
As long as you don't have mad scientists you probably should just play another deck ;) without scientist you kind of play the very old Hunter before Naxx, but this Hunter had a starving buzzard at 2 (!!!) mana, which completely changes the deal ... and on top of that, all other decks have evolved
I don't have Dr. Boom so I'm using Kel'Thuzad instead. Working really well so far.
Looks perfect for aggro/midrange deck.
How do I play against mech-mage with this deck? Can anyone help me?
I constantly defeat and there are so many mech mage :(
Makes a great control deck and is very anti-aggro. does well against murloc.
i dont get why youre all so excited... he didnt invent fire, its just a normal midrange hunter without undertaker
any suggestions for cards instead of boom and scientist?
UGG!! I'm so frustrated because i don't have doctor boom or the scientists. i substituted the scientists with loot hoarders and instead of doctor boom i am using sylvannas.
