If you don't have [card]Ragnaros the Firelord[/card], try Sea Giant, Kel'Thuzad or The Black Knight.
Sea Giant have great synergy with Snake Trap, [card]Unleash the Hounds[/card], [card]Haunted Creeper[/card].
Kel'Thuzad have synergy with Piloted Shredder, Sludge Belcher, [card]Savannah Highmane[/card] and Dr. Boom
The Black Knight help you to control board.

This deck just feels so weak compared to face hunter. It gets crushed by every Paladin and Priest with a decent start.
Cult Master isn't supposed to stay on the board. You play it when you have a few minions on the board and then trade them against the opponent's taunts. It helps a lot when playing against a Druid with a deck full of taunts, because you can continue killing his minions and keep pressure.
Obviously against aggresive decks this won't be as useful. But then again, what's an explosive trap going to do against a mage with 3 or 4 health minions?
I think I must just be a god awful Hunter player. I played Paladin down to Rank 3, decided to switch for a change. Picked up this Hunter deck and went 0-6, most games just getting blown away. Lol, I suck.
Just got Legend with this deck. 81% winrate from rank 5 to Legend. Proof:
I see you didn't face many but any suggestions vs priest and warrior on what to mulligan for? I finally figured out druid/mech mage. REALLY good at countering hunter but im horrible against priest.
For the most part I think its about if they get a mech warper/gnome T2 with coin. I have came back from this but something like double mech warper or even a follow up annoy o tron after a mech warper the next turn can snowball to much. I like a mad scientist to at least stop tempo a bit while I can regain the board again, Bow, Animal companion is nice to. A lot depends on what you already have in hand. If I have a creeper I mulligan hard for houndmaster. If I have UTH I will look for knife juggler. So a lot is what I already have in my hand, I don't like to get to greedy so I don't mulligan for combos unless I already have say 1
For the most part I try to trade as minimal as possible. I read someone who said only trade for snow chugger/warper and make them trade the rest since they will use spells as removal vs hit you in the face later but I found making trades whenever its favorable for you is best. Or if your creatures are all really low and he COULD blastmage I go ahead and just take the mechs out so just play smart. I wouldn't say its a great matchup. I am mainly babbling because I feel its so luck based. If you get a decent curve, trade efficiently and they don't have stupid op opener then its not to bad
How should I play against mech-mage with this deck? Can anyone help me?
I constantly defeat and there are so many mech mage :(
Just hit legend with this deck over the weekend, no changes. This was the epitome of a midrange deck, enough control and punishment to handle mechmage and face hunter (ty UTH + Juggler), enough speed and value/sticky minions to beat down control warrior and paladin.
This deck can definitely run out of steam, and sometimes the draws aren't right for aggro. I had some crazy winstreaks from 5-1 and there were very few decks that I felt I couldn't win against. Worst matchup is probably handlock/demonlock, but those have been pretty rare. Playing around the mirror matchup and proper mulliganing can really make a difference for this deck.
Looks like ragnaros the firelord is about the same thing as King krush :P
You just cleared my vision on that one ! thank you Senpai!
yeah idd... always manaproblems :p
How about squeezing in one Hunter's Mark in there? It's really helpful when you need to kill that one big minion to win, especially since this deck doesn't run BGH.
0-5 with this deck at rank 5, while Senx gives me 9-5. I always draw cult Master, argus and ragnaros in the starting hand.
To be honest 5 games is too small of a sample to draw any conclusions. I've played this from rank 4 to rank 2 with a record of 11-4. Sometimes you get a shitty opening hand but that's the nature of Hearthstone. Generally you want to be able to play on curve through turns 2-3-4 and you're off for a better start.
Play a different deck? No, seriously. When I play my shaman, I most usually beat midrange hunters. It's one of my favourite matches to play, I know have very good odds of winning.
Nice deck, pretty consistent.
This version is better than the SenX one.
What do you think about Strifecro's Mid Range Hunter and how these compare?
http://gyazo.com/2ea2db44ce05e86d951ddefc2b6634f2 not quite sure which one is better.
i love how ppl change 2-3 cards in the deck and create "a totally brand new deck".... pretty funny....
Agree with that one.
I think my favourite one is zombie shaman deck, released in liquidhearth back in the day. Add 2 zombie chows to a shaman deck, call it new deck, and write a full guide for it!
This EU scrub ( nAIMAN ) actually has the nerve to call out 'Strifecro ? LOL, one of the best all around players in the World and an all around nice guy. Meanwhile this nAIMAN clown has the personality of a water buffalo, that is truely wat is funny.
