So, I have finally decided to put up a proper description for this ultra Control Warrior deck.

FYI: I have never played Control Warrior before, this was my first real try to contruct such a heavy deck myself. And I think it worked out quite well.

Firstly, some auto-includes, such as:

  • 2 Executes: This is a control deck. It needs removal. And what better removal than a 1-mana spell that has a condition that is easy to fulfill and instantly destroys an enemy minion?
  • 2 Shield Slams: Second best removal. For the 'Somewhat big'-stuff. You will gain alot of Armor over the course of a match. You can put that armor to a more useful cause than just as semi-Health replacement. How 'bout you destroy a minion with it? For 1 mana? Sounds good.
  • 2 Armorsmiths: This girl is useful to soak up some early game damage and make other cards, such as your Taunts, e.g. Sludge Belcher, to also give you some Armor passively.
  • 2 Cruel Taskmasters: These muscular guys can pack quite a punch. (Not literally) They help out to Execute someone. Can deal a finishing blow with Grommash Hellscream and combo 'em down with a whopping 12 damage. They are all-around very useful.
  • 2 Fiery War Axes (AKA Fiery WIN Axe): This weapon is amazing, it kills ANY early-game aggression, so it is an ABSOLUTE auto-include against a aggro-oriented meta.
  • 2 Shield Blocks: This card helps you to sustain some more aggression, due to giving you extra 5 "Health". It also helps you to dig for your late-game minions in your deck. Comboes with Shield Slam!
  • 2 Death's Bites: This weapon helps out with ALL mid-game creatures. Want to destroy a left-over Spider Tank? There you go! Hey, this turn he played a Loatheb and a free Clockwerk Gnome due to his annoying Mechwarper. Destroy that crummy ol' thing with your whopping 4 + Deathrattle damage and clear the rest of the board as well, shall we? You get the idea.
  • 2 Acolyte of Pains: Draw through your deck some more to get your late-game stuff and give this guy some more power with a Cruel Taskmaster to draw an extra card and deal some more damage!
  • Dr. Boom (AKA Dr. Balanced): Duh. Best op card. Why not include it? No argument here.
  • Alexstrasza: You mostly focus on having strong board control. So a minion that can deal 15 damage in 1 turn is pretty useful when your opponent is running out of cards.
  • Grommash Hellscream: This card is the essential second part of the game ender. Dream game: Turn 9 - Alexstrasza[/card your enemy. Turn 10 - [card]Alexstrasza lives, play Grommash Hellscream with Cruel Taskmaster and end the game. EZ GAME EZ RARES I'D SAY
  • Sylvanas Windrunner: She is awesome in control vs control matchups since it puts your opponent in a panic situation: He can't play anything since it'll just get stolen, or he plays something and risks losing alot.
  • 1 Big Game Hunter: Everybody is running Dr. Boom and other 7+ Attack stuff. Running one is essential in this current meta. Two can be debated, but I think one is enough.

Okay, now that we're through with ALOT of auto-includes, let's start with the "These cards can be reasoned about to be put into this deck"-cards:

  • 1 Sludge Belcher: He/It is really REALLY useful against aggro since he's basically 2 in 1 Taunts. Two copies can be debated.
  • Whirlwind: I think one of this card is pretty good, since you can see alot of Mech Mages currently and a potential extra Execute-starter plus extra board damage is pretty good.
  • Cleave: Helps with the aggressive kind of decks out there. Alot. I guess it can be reasoned with but for me, there's no doubt to put at least one of these in your Control Warrior deck in this meta.
  • 1 Shieldmaiden: She is actually pretty useful most of the time. Most people undervalued her, when she got announced at the GvG-release. She's a really good setup for a Shield Slam, as well as a somewhat big body.
  • Brawl: Now this card can be reasoned with ALOT. One massive AoE is essential with Control Warrior against Aggro. But wheter you like Brawl or Baron Geddon more is your decision. I like Brawl more since it's a REALLY massive AoE sometimes and can create some fun scenarios. And I like fun.
  • Iron Juggernaut: Some people are still not quite sure if they want to put this card in their Control Warrior deck, since it's not an immediate threat. But I'd say "WHAT, 10 DAMAGE RANDOMLY WHEN YOUR OPPONENT IS DRAWING A CARD?! HELL YEAH, SIGN ME UP!!" Yup, I'd say that.
  • Harrison Jones: He's really situational, since he's only usable against Weapon classes. But when he strikes it's a heavy whipping strike. His most likely replacement would be an Ironbeak Owl for some semi-removal.
  • I currently replaced the Iron Juggernaut with Emperor Thaurissan, because his value is just insane. You can get -9 mana cost if your hand was full before.
  • I'm probably also replacing Sneed's Old Shredder with Chromaggus once he's out. He can be quite a good card draw engine.

Following two Legendaries can be replaced with whatever BIG Legendary you'd like:

  • Ragnaros the Firelord: A minion with a Random Charge that is Immune while attacking? Sure, I like that.
  • Sneed's Old Shredder: Really good Legendary choice when he's not silenced. He can create some really really fun & OP scenarios at the same time.

I put in those two 'cause I got them. But you could also throw in something like Ysera. She's pretty slow, but can be played very effectively.

EXTRA NOTE: The first few Blackrock Mountain cards that got revealed didn't fit in to the Control Warrior schema.
Rend Blackhand is a too highly costed Big Game Hunter that will only trigger, if you got your Alexstrasza (or Ysera).
Grim Patron just doesn't fit. Too weak of stats for too much mana. Fits more for some Warrior at a Beer Party.
Hungry Dragon won't fit either since he would give your opponent a lil' bit of board control and you don't want that, just keep on playing Sludge Belcher.
Blackwing Technician. No, is more of a midrange card. And you only have 1/2 Dragons.
Dark Iron Skulker. Keep your eyes peeled. He's a Rogue card.
(This was after the first 5 cards revelaed)

Yeah, that's my Control Warrior. Didn't really write down any matchup percentage win ratios yet, sorry.

I hope you liked reading this description.

Criticism is welcome.
