Is Spell bender  a decent card to switch for Counterspell?

Its the only card I dont have for this deck. 

I don't have BGH, so I threw in an Illuminator cause of all the secrets. I've gone 4 out of 5.

sorry to ask, but how do i play this deck? board control or? also mulligan guides?

Mulligan to mana wyrm, scientist, frost bolt and portal against aggro and kirin tor and water elem against control. Value trades important for this deck

swapped echo for ice block and it's been working really well

So i took out blizzard and echo of medivh for an ice block and a 2nd kiron tor mage... now im just wondering with the meta being full of face/midrange hunter and secret mage/mech mage with secrets if I should maybe add a kezen mystic to the deck and if so what would i take out BGH maybe?  or the azure or maybe one of the kiron tor mages? what do you guys think

I update deck! But early game weak against face hunters, against other aggro decks enough frost bolts and lucky mana wyrm/ Mad Scientist. 

I had a similar deck but I included Ethereal Arcanist and it won me many games.

Don't you think it could be useful in a secret Mage deck?

I mean Ethereal Arcanist is not good card 

Amazing list. Loved how it stomps warriors even when they go very late into the game

Warriors and priests - is pretty good mutch ups, but in carrent meta they dissappeared

Really fun deck to play! 

Really good deck and also good win rate against most opponents. Lost so far only one game against taunt druid, that was my second game with this deck. I think less mistakes and it could have been won. Best part of this deck is that it is fun to play. Can't say that from many mage decks what are played at the moment.

Really having a blast with that deck, lots of fun. Used a Dr.Balance instead of the echo, too lazy to craft the epic - still works wonders. Now mage dominance dailies are fun once again!

Loving this deck so far, thanks for sharing it! It is great against mech mages aswell, which i was struggling with my priest!

I put Dr. Boom in for Sylvanas Windrunner. Better to have two or no BGH targets than just the one.
