edit after TGT launch: This was the only high rated Paladin Murloc deck pre TGT. It might have inspired Blizzard to create Murloc Knight!
edit after LoE launch: Thank you for Sir Finley Mrrgglton, Blizzard!! He fits 100% in this deck. Anyfin Can Happen IS SO AMAZING!! The deck is now more midrange / control.
I reached Legend with this fantastic Murloc-deck at the end of January 2015. Originally it was designed as a fun-deck. I used it only for the final push from Rank 1 1Star to Legend. I was on a roll, so maybe it was a little bit lucky.
Mulligan:
best: Zombie Chow, , Sir Finley Mrrgglton, Shielded Minibot, Haunted Creeper, Muster for Battle
good: Argent Protector (only with Zombie Chow or a good 2 drop with coin), Avenge, Murloc Tidecaller, Knife Juggler
ok: Puddlestomper, Murloc Tidehunter, Bluegill Warrior
never: all other cards
Strategy: Originally this was an aggro deck. But I recognized that this midrange version is a lot more stable.
The first 3 turns are the most important. If you can establish board control, you have a high chance to win the game.
Trade your divine-shields against minions or use it to protect key-minions like Murloc Warleader. Keep your murlocs alive as long as possible and then buff it up with Coldlight Seer.
If you have Divine Favor on your hand, try to use all your mana crystals to empty your hand as fast as possible.
The disadvantage of this deck is the difficulty to handle it. It needs a lot of practice.
Matchups: (Pre TGT!)
best: Midrange Druid, Priest, Mech Mage, Warrior, Shaman
50/50: Hunter, Ramp-Taunt Druid, Handlock, Rogue
worst: Zoolock, Midrange Paladin
Hero Power to choose from Sir Finley Mrrgglton:
1. Warlock (only when low on cards and no Divine Favor or Coldlight Oracle in hand)
2. Priest (if you have already a minions on the board you can heal)
3. Rogue (if you need help to gain boardcontrol)
4. Mage (if you need help to gain boardcontrol, but weaker than Rogue, because you deal only 1 damage for 2 mana, and your hero-health doesn't matter)
5. Druid (worse as mage or rogue)
6. Hunter (only if you need the final burst)
7. Shaman (don't choose)
8. Warrior (don't choose)

This stupid deck is the new patron warrior... Too op xD
How good are Vilefin Inquisitor and Bilefin Tidehunter? What cards can they replace? For vilefin inquisitor, i am not sure if it is worth playing. Yes it is synergistic however it slightly nerfs Anyfin Can Happen and other hero powers from Sir Finley Mrrgglton can be better depending on the matchup. So should i replaceSir Finley Mrrgglton with Vilefin Inquisitor? I'm not sure how good Bilefin Tidehunter is so please share your thoughts on that and if its good enough what cards it can replace.
Now that i think about it, i'm pretty sure Bilefin tidehunter isn't that good. From a 2 drop perspective, a 2/3 would trade into the 2/1 first and a 3/2 would trade into a 1/1 first. The only time it would be reasonably more useful than murloc tidehunter is in late game where the 1/1 taunt is trying to protect a murloc knight or warleader. I don't think it's worth including. To me it seems more like a card which works better in aggro murloc decks.
If i already have the vilefin hero power, can i do this: hero power, vilefin, hero power?
Tbh i feel like the 2nd Vilefin should replace chow instead of anyfin. ANyfin is still very good and chow is the best 1 drop to play on turn 1 but gets worse as the game goes on. It can often be a dead card or a card which ultimately benefits your opponent.
atm this deck is jsut bad, whatever fuck you play just get stomped in da face 0/10
The feeling of knowing you can bring back all your murlocs not once, but twice, makes this deck so insanely powerful. You're never afraid to trade your loc's into your opponents cards because you know in a few more turns you are going to ruin their day. Purposely clearing your field on turn nine and giving them that little glimmer of hope is so good. Then bang!! Drop dat ten mana and slam him with charge. But wait, it's not enough damage?! They clear the board with every card in their hand that can be put together. Just when they think they're okay and have control, BOOM ANYFIN CAN HAPPEN THE SEQUEL!!! GG NO RE
Awesome deck. <3
Love how I can win 7-8 in a row and then just lose the same amount in a row. Bullshit deck.
So I tried this deck a few months ago with no success. But now, with Anyfin Can Happen things seem to fall right into place. It's hilarious when you summon all those murlocs from an empty board. I love it!
If you're missing so many cards, I suggest you to not make this deck haha.
Hey good decks its very funny to play with it
murlocs op :3 <3
Very fun deck. Thanks for keeping it up to date!
Does this still work?
I played this deck against a renowarlock. I got his life down to three and he used Reno, I still won the game with 27 life. lol. Great deck!
You can't beat the inkeeper in practice mode, normal difficulty, with this deck. Ok... it's a joke, but let's be honest, you don't stand a chance against any deck considered good, imagine against decks really competitive, just ignore this deck, don't waste your time.
Practice more. First few tries you'll lose. Once you get the hang of it, you'll own a lot of games.
i cant believe i de buncha my shit for theses damn murlocs fun but not to powerful
Really fun deck, I've loved murloc decks since beta, and this do work in higher ranks aswell, thank you very much for posting this
The look on your opponent's face after you bust out your second Anyfin Can Happen immediately after he wasted his entire board clearing out the first one... priceless.
rank 12 to 19 without a single win with this shit deck. never survived 6 turns
I dunno, I just got 5 wins in a row with the deck...
yeah or not, learn how to play the deck correctly and it is fully capable of winning in higher ranks aswell, it is all about how you play it
