So i just played this deck to legend. Feels Awesome. Has really good amount of card draw with all the cycles, sprint etc. Combo southsea deckhand for example with tinkers + prep tinkers+ deadly poison and blade flurry = LOTS OF damage!
If this deck becomes popular i can write full guide for it. Gonna start grinding to top 100 and improve the deck :).
EDIT:
I reached top 100 today. I updated the list with the changes i have done:
-1 shiv -> 1 Gnomish inventor. I felt like double shiv was overkill, inventor also cycles and it soaks up damage, lets you maintain board control better and sometimes is a body for the oil combo!
-1 Sprint - > Trade Prince Gallywix. I felt like i had enough draw with one sprint and Gallywix is really good. It usually gives you atleast one card and has 8 health so many times you can use it as a body for the oil combo.
I have also been testing out edwin vancleef in this deck by replacing other southsea deckhand. It feel good in some matchups and in some matchups i'd rather have another deckhand. Time will tell which one is better
I will try to make a full guide for the deck the during this weekend!
ok so i messed up and reply to my comment-epic level of nobiness from me :) -
heres is my answer nate
You mean this?????
Bloodmage Thalnos can draw a card.can activate an SI:7 Agent or Eviscerate, has spell power,it's a body on the board and always, force the enemy to kill him.plus using him with fan of knifes combo with or without Preparation it can save you the whole game a lot of times.
Hope ithis is what you looking mate :)
I dont really think any deck can have a legitimate counter to handlock. I am also struggling with it too. turn 4 giant or drake is really strong. ;/
I don`t know why but handlock and hunters seem like the easiest match ups for me so far, turn 4 drakes or giant are easily killed with bloodmage + spells or deadly + SI:7
pray for your Sap and try to have lethal before they can use Molten Giant.
Love the deck although I'm hacking it a little bit for some more agressive power. I replaced the gnomish with a cold blood, and so did I with the gallywix cause I don't have him. It works fine so far (4 wins out of 5 games), I lost to super fast aggro when I didnt have a good starting hand. The Cold bloods work really fine with the deckhand.
Solid deck that's quite difficult to play. When I played initially I lost about the same amount of games as I won. Now, I'm winning a lot more and have dealt with some of Rogue's worst match-ups easily. This deck has a lot of burst potential and clearing power. Cards like Loatheb and Gallywix can be used to stall for power burst next turn with Tinker's. There are numerous plays to swing games. Preparation has a lot of uses as well from Sprint to low-cost Tinker's. Dont' be afraid to use it because this deck has a lot of card draw.
One thing I need to be mindful of is Tinker's combo. Sometimes I don't play it right and I have a 50/50 or something that the Oil will hit a minion that can attack. It almost cost me a game, but top deck eviscerate to save the day!
Some tech cards to consider are The Black Knight for Druids since they were frequent when I played or another Healbot/Farseer for the Hunters out there. For Control perhaps Assassin's Blade for more sustained damage (Tinker's + Assassin's Blade is potent though Harrison Jones is something to be watchful of) or a Sabotage.
Tried Auctioneer instead of Gallywix, works even better, cause gallywix was getting poor value lately, but yeah great deck thx :D
Two very different roles, wouldn't use auctioneer lol...
there are so many card draws and kappa's in this deck. gj
sick deck thanks for sharing. although it struggles against control warrior, any tips ? and still waiting on your detailed guide on this amazing deck. thanks again.
kappada's haha tinker. Kappa.
What's your strategy against hunters/aggro decks? I get completely destroyed most of the time :(
it's a lot of fun even without the legendaries. surely has it's weaknesses - but which deck doesn't.
the thought alone of that puny deckhand rushing to the face with 16 atk (i put some cold blood in) makes me go "HAHAR!"
very gd deck, gets win most of the time
any idea vs hunter?
i tried to control the board and shht but unless i draw gd cards i usually end up having 10 hp turn 7
and other super rush decks as well
I shouldnt dust my Gallywix
What a great deck mate! But I feel like Assassin's Blade is an absolute must here since oiling it up does wonders to your opponent's face! So I replaced 1 Shiv with it, basically it's just one more win condition.
Great deck bud, does fine against agro and control but after testing I found low value for Trade Prince against midrange. I started experimenting with some legendaries to replace him and found this deck is home for Blingtron 3000, must of the weapons you get are worth because deadly potion, some games were over when you get crazy shit like Doomhammer. The counterpart is the weapons enemy, so to fix this I removed Shiv and Gnomish Inventor to add Sabotage and a Ooze (cool to enable combo). Any comment on this? Thanks for sharing, having a great time with Your deck!
Nice idea, might have to try blingtron since I own it.
Hi are there any replacements for Trade Prince Gallywix ?
People above here mentioned Blingtron 3000. I would prefer to replace Trade Prince Gallywix with Blingtron 3000, then replace Loatheb with Harrison Jones for synergy with him and better fit to current meta.
