Post your question here, I'll try to answer asap !!
Guide:
Mulligan:
You should look for earlier minions to get an explosive start (cogmaster, clockwork gnome, mechwarper, mana wyrm). If you're facing aggro decks, you can keep blastmage if you have the coin, keep frostbolt if you don't have the coin. If you're facing control decks with weapon, chugger will be amazing so never mulligan it.
How to play: try to flood the board with mech minions and keep board control until the end. Loatheb will seal the deal against control decks, while blastmage is insanely good against aggro players. Sometimes you can go for face if you have direct damage in hand to kill your opponent next turn (fireball, frostbolt). Archmage Antonidas is your win condition if you run out steam. You will get a lot of parts from mech minions to use with Antonidas.
How to replace Antonidas ? No, you can't replace him.
This deck is disgustingly OP. Getting opponents to concede on turn 5 or 6 feels dirty. Love it
How does everyone feel about adding a Big Game Hunter and dropping one of the spider tanks?
Alextra for Boom? cuz i dont have boom yet or any good sub to him? (i wanna keep my alextra cuz im saving for freeze mage as well) help kappa prides pls! :(
I would say any big dragon should do fine
Is this deck better or worse than tempo mage? I have a tempo mage already built
Is this deck still viable If i don't have mad scientist? I would think that you struggle with mana costs and curving when you have to fully pay for your secrets.
If you don't have a mad scientist, don't bother putting secrets in mage. 3 mana for a thing that might not trigger at an optimal state is a waste of a turn. Having another fast spell, or maybe more minions, or a fitting tech minion for the meta will fill the hole of those 4 card slots (mad and the secret).
If a hunter thinks a 2 mana for a secret is too much, then a mage shouldn't have a second thought, it's mad sci or go home ;)
I have Archmage Antonidas but i don't have boom what can i replace him? grand crusader, pyroblast or flamestrike?
Pyro is fine.
Hey, I run a variable I did because I didn´t have antonidas or dr. boom replacing them with flamestrike and a polymorph but now I can craft a legendary but just one so, what do you think it's better to craft in this situation? I know that dr. coom it's a neutral and can be used in all decks but i play a lot of mage and get good results.
This deck catapulted me from rank 19 to rank 10 in one go. I have recently crafted Dr. Boom, but still waiting to get Antonidas.
When you get Antonidas, you will laugh at how many close calls in a match you will get, like staying at 1 life, with Ice Block waiting to be triggered, Antonidas on stealth, with two fireballs and bang, you have letal damage.
amazing deck
Huh, I'm curious as to why you put Arcane Intellect in your deck. Are you having success with it?
Personally I think the tempo loss from playing it is too harsh without Sorcerer's Apprentice and I don't really see the point of cycling as mech mage doesn't usually run out of cards and you have really only Antonidas and your burn to want to draw into. Mad Scientist isn't a bad draw either, but you did lose tempo by play AC so it's tempo gain from a free Mirror Entity isn't as valuable anymore.
Your thoughts?
This variation has lower curve than others therefore Arcane Intellect is necessary. AI also buffs your Mana Wyrms as well. If you don't like it, click "view history" and you'll see my older versions. All of them are perfectly designed for hearthstone at highest levels.
The deck is working really well used it in a tournament and made it really far. Made it to rank 9 but the need for aoe seems to rising. Got anything you could take out for it? In those moments when you lose early board control
i end up using it a fair bit usually on turn 3 or very late game when im low on cards
This deck is terrible. I went from rank 11 to rank 19. You run out of steam every match, you have zero board clearing, zero health gaining, the card draw, mirror entity and mad scientist are useless as everyone is well aware of the combo and what secret you are playing, also, once the secrets are gone from the deck from hard casting the card, the mad scientist is useless. There are no tinker town technicians or mechanical yetis for spare parts, 12 times out of 35 games with this deck I had Antonidas with NO SPARE PARTS. 8 of the games I never see Antonidas. So out of 35 games, it worked 15 times with enough parts... but I have a 90% lose rate with this deck. It's just -bad-.
Or you're just bad.
