Why Loatheb over Sylvanas?  Sylvanas seems to be so much more important in Control decks.

Sylvanas is good in a control meta, but in an aggro or midrange meta, you are going pretty far behind and need more defensive options to gain initiative of the board. things like molten giant, twilight drake, shadowflame etc are all really big threats and cheap board clear that help you stabilize the board and give you a massive swing. Loatheb is a good defensive or offensive option which can keep you in both match ups, keeping things like force savage, freeze mage, or aggro shaman burn spells one more turn, giving you more time to stabilize and overtake your opponent with your big drops. Meanwhile, paying 5 mana for sylvanaas has no immediate effect and can be ignored, leaving you vulnerable to burst damage. Great card. and certainly has synergy with shadowflame... but is a bit too slow for this style deck.

this is a good deck but why dread infernal?

I dont have mountain giants or shadow flame, is it still playable for legend, i replaced mountain giants with im gang leaderz

Thanks man, amazing deck! The chows have really improved my winrate against hunters and other aggro-decks. After ten games I lost only two, both to a mech-mage. Do you have any tips for dealing with them, considering this deck runs no hellfire?

I love this deck, but hunters are a really tough matchup.  I'm almost a free win against hunter.

if i had malganus and jaraxxus id probably try this deck out, otherwise i just play my standard handloc deck... Its changed so little since the release of gvg.

Removed Dread Infernal and 2 Mortal Coil and replaced with one more Darkbomb and 2 Floating Watcher. It is working just fine for me!

QUESTION: Can Mal'Ganis be substituted with another card? I don't mean replacing him with a card of a similar effect because that's clearly not possible. But, would another big minion suffice?

ahahaha alright, I've got a tonne of dust i'm about to use on this deck.

You can summon him early with the Voidcaller, turn 5 Mal´Ganis sounds pretty good, in later stages you can draw cards without the loss of the health while he is on board, and if you jaraxxus you can attack minions while your immune and take no damage, and it also buffs the dread infernal and the infernals from jaraxxus, making them 8/8.

And he is still 7 Damage that the enemy have to spend to kill him, and that draws ressources from your enemy that cant be spend on the other big minions, except for BGH and MC(tech).

Never played handlock before, but I will give this list a go

Since I don't have Dr. Boom, I replaced him with a Power Overwhelming for synergy with Shadowflame and to trigger Voidcaller's Deathrattle.
