Intro
Hello everyone! I want to share my OTK Priest deck, which I played to Legend this season with 71% winrate (not clickbait). Hope you like it!
Overview
The main goal of this deck is to execute an OTK with Timewinder Zarimi + The Ceaseless Expanse + Delicious Cheese, dealing between 40 to 60 damage in a single turn.
Unlike the aggro version, this deck only includes 4 dragons. Two Clay Matriarchs ensure the activation condition for Timewinder Zarimi, while the cheapest dragon, Gorgonzormu, can be drawn reliably with Scale Replica and played as early as turn 3.
Ethereal Oracle helps with card draw and board clears, allowing you to survive until the critical OTK turn. Additionally, if needed, you can fully heal with Pendant of Earth by discovering The Ceaseless Expanse.
The deck plays great against both control and aggro decks.
Mulligan
- vs Aggro
- Overzealous Healer, Crimson Clergy, Whelp Wrangler, Greedy Partner – for early board control.
- Orbital Halo – if you have early minions in hand.
- Ethereal Oracle, Fly Off the Shelves, Holy Nova – for board clears and card draw.
- Scale Replica – if you have a good starting hand.
- vs Control
- Overzealous Healer, Crimson Clergy, Whelp Wrangler – for early pressure.
- Orbital Halo – if you have early minions.
- Ethereal Oracle, Scale Replica – for card draw.
- Gorgonzormu – the earlier you can play it, the better.
Game Plan
- Early Game (1-3 Mana Crystals)
Your strongest 1-mana drop, Overzealous Healer, helps both with board control and early pressure.
Don’t hesitate to play Crimson Clergy on turn 1, especially if you have Orbital Halo or Power Chord: Synchronize in hand.
- Midgame (4-6 Mana Crystals)
By turn 5-6, you should have enough dragons in hand to use Ethereal Oracle + Fly Off the Shelves to clear any board.
Play Clay Matriarch on turn 6 or 7.
- Late Game (7+ Mana Crystals)
Prepare for the OTK turn with Timewinder Zarimi + The Ceaseless Expanse + Delicious Cheese, and calculate your potential damage. Sometimes Timewinder Zarimi + Delicious Cheese is enough.
Remove key enemy minions with Aman'Thul and, if possible, copy it. Also you can save it for removing sticky taunt minions on the OTK turn.
Tips and Tricks
- Don’t buff Overzealous Healer if its Spellburst hasn't been activated – it will silence the buffs!
- Don’t waste the whelps from Whelp Wrangler unnecessarily – they are crucial for Fly Off the Shelves.
- Ethereal Oracle works excellently with Fly Off the Shelves. The spell gets additional spell damage for each swipe. For example, with 3 dragons in hand, the spell will deal 8 damage.
- Scale Replica guarantees drawing Gorgonzormu, as it is the cheapest dragon, allowing you to often play it on turn 3.
- Pendant of Earth ⇒ The Ceaseless Expanse = full HP heal.
- Don’t hesitate to use Power Chord: Synchronize on early minions, but it's better to save it for Aman'Thul.
- First, draw minions (using Scale Replica, Pendant of Earth), then use Creation Protocol – this increases your chances of discovering additional Aman'Thul copies.
- Remember, Power Chord: Synchronize can also be used on enemy minions!
- Use Aman'Thul to remove key enemy minions (e.g., Zilliax, Ships).
- Best Delicious Cheese are 8-mana and 10-mana versions.

Love this priest deck, it has strong early to late game. I went from D5 to Legend in a few hours. Roughly 65% WR. Thanks for making this guide!!
I like the effort you put into this guide. I appreciate things like that.
very fun if your pocket-meta is board based aggro decks. I've hit the top of plat and a lot of people are running warrior and DK and rogue now. This deck loses almost instantly to Boomboss or Dirty Rat. fun while it lasted, but it's hard to get to the combo turns sometimes. relying on the cheese buffing up takes a little too long. Have you tried Clockwork Giant and maybe Gaslight Gatekeeper for a more consistent stat-bomb on the OTK turn?
Hmm... What exactly do you have trouble with? Boomboss shoudn't be a problem because Warrior gotta be dead to the moment he plays it. Do you have replays?
As for Giants I don't think it's nessesary. If you want to make Warrior totally dead you can use ETC with Alex or Vol'jin for swapping Ceasless.

combo wasn't anywhere close to taking him out before he stuffed 6 bombs in my deck
I don't understand why you conceded after the Boomboss play. You had Aman'thul, you had all the key cards, you could just fill you hand to burn bombs until the OTK turn. Also you had 8 cards in the deck so you had all the chances to win.
Here some tips:
Mortimerty back at it again with priest. this deck is looking solid. don't normally play OTK style but I'll give it a shot!
Update: I went 5-1 with this deck tonight. it's very promising. I love how every card has at least 2 synergies with every other card in the deck. this deck runs like a well oiled machine
Hey, glad to hear you find it promising! It's finally the deck I find interesting and worth playing. The interaction between spell damage and Fly Off was unexpected discovery)
just made this deck and got destroyed by endless starship rogue
Aman'Thul is the key card in the match-up. Either you kill him before huge starship, or you puff the starship and kill him. Replays versus Starship Rogue:
It's not just the Expansiveness of this deck that I love..... it's the Ceaselessness of it.
I just opened Timewinder Zarimi from a standard pack so I might give this a go. I admit I haven't thought of OTKing with Ceasless.
WIsh you luck! I don't like common aggro Zarimi versions because they're very vulnerable to board clears and quite boring as well. This deck on contrary is quite control-ish, doesn't scare of clears and can win any meta deck.
Unfortunately the deck isn't for me. The problems I encountered playing the deck is The Ceaseless Expanse, Timewinder Zarimi and Gorgonzormu.
I could make the deck less reliant on Gorgonzormu's cheese by using Chillin' Vol'jin to swap stats between Ceasless and Zarimi but that only if I get Ceasless and Zarimi ready in the first place.
I think I misplayed and lost some games by holding onto Gorgonzormu's cheese for the OTK. But, the reason the deck is not for me is, if I am going to often times use Gorgonzormu's cheese for tempo and gaining board advantage then I would just go back and play a deck I enjoy with aggro priest.
Ceaseless here is mostly vs Control decks. Versus Aggro I usually use only Zarimi + Cheese. In dire situations I use Cheese just for tempo, but for sure not in vs Control cases.
Voljin is really good, you can swap and deal 30 damage, but Cheese can deal 24 to 40 damage itself. Moreover Gorgonzormu is a dragon so it helps with Zarimi requirements.
Anyway if you prefer more aggresive strategy, I think common aggro Zariimi is more suitable, but with own pros and cons.
Nah, I run my own list without Zarimi
Cool deck but waiting for ceaseless to be playable is very late in the game... in this aggro meta how do you survive the never-ending onslaught of face shaman warriors?
Hey! You don't need to focus on it in Aggro match-ups. Just survive and kill them with Zarimi + Cheese. To be honest I play Ceaseless quite often versus swarm decks like Shaman, Elemental Mage, DK etc. Even versus Control it's ready to turn 10-12. Don't forget to check some replays - it may be useful!
